Abstract
Description
The invention relates to the field of road-building materials and can be used in the device of coatings of motor roads of II-IV categories in IV-V climatic zones.
9128-84. In the construction of roads, asphalt mixtures prepared in accordance with GOST 9128-84 are widely used.
The main disadvantage of the known asphalt mixes is the low heat and shear resistance, which to a large extent appears on the deformative and strength properties of pavements, which mainly determine the performance of the pavement.
0,97.Known asphalt mixture, which is a mixture of mineral filler, slag mineral powder and bitumen [1]
Asphalt mixtures prepared using these materials have a good indicator of the coefficient of water resistance K drain. 0.97.
The disadvantage of this mixture is low heat resistance. Compressive strength at 50 ° C (50 ° C compression channels) is just 1.45 MPa. According to the requirements of GOST 9128-84, this indicator should be at least 1.60 MPa. A low value of K sr 50 about With leads to a decrease in the shear resistance of the coating and does not provide the required performance.
Closest to the proposed invention in technical essence is a hot fine-grained asphalt mixture [2] including bitumen and a mineral part composed of limestone material in the following ratio of components, wt.
Limestone shell rock: Fraction 0-5 mm 60-65 Fraction 5-15 mm 27-32 Bitumen viscous 7-8
Disadvantages of said mixture low coefficient of water resistance and durability index at 50 ° C, increased capacity for water saturation and aging and therefore increased consumption of organic binders as compared with the need for binders such as bituminous mixes which are prepared with standard mineral materials.
The disadvantages of mixtures of porous materials stem from the fact that the interaction of organic binder bitumen with the surface of limestone-shell rock, which is a highly porous material, leads to delamination of the structure of bitumen. Partially, molecules of oils and resins selectively penetrate pores inside mineral materials, and asphaltene molecules and aggregates are concentrated in the surface layer. The layer of a bitumen film formed on the surface of a porous mineral material, consisting mainly of asphaltenes, becomes more rigid and, therefore, more fragile, which accelerates the aging process of asphalt concrete pavements. Therefore, in practice road construction using porous materials treated with bitumen, increasing the amount of organic binder, which entails a decline of strength at 50 ° C.
The purpose of the invention is the increase in water resistance and strength index at 50 about With asphalt mixtures and the reduction of scarce organic binders.
This goal is achieved by the fact that the asphalt mixture containing waste material from sawing up limestone-shell rock and binder bitumen additionally contains dried silica gel as an activator of the mineral material, waste from sulfate processing of natural phosphorites, in the production of phosphoric acid and concentrated phosphate fertilizers and as a hydrophobizing agent the porous material of the main rocks secondary distillation of the tar (waste oil and fat production), with the following m ratio of components, wt.
Limestone-limestone sawing waste, Fraction 0-5 mm 60.0-65.0 Fraction 5-15 mm 27.9-29.85 Dried silica gel waste sulfuric acid processing of natural phosphorites upon receipt of phosphoric acid and concentrated phosphate fertilizers 1.5-3.5 Secondary distillation of fat tar 0.10-0.15 Bitumen 5.5-6.5
The introduction of silica gel additive (a waste of phosphorite processing) promotes the formation of a denser structure of asphalt concrete, with partially closed pores due to neoplasms that occur in the surface layer of porous limestone-shell rock when interacting with silica gel. The resulting insoluble calcium fluorides and silicates on the surface of limestone-shell rock, increasing its strength, will increase the water resistance of the asphalt mixture, reduce the delamination of the structure of bitumen and reduce the penetration of oils and resins into the mineral material. The surface film of bitumen becomes more plastic, slowing down the aging process of the mixture.
The secondary distillation of fat tar, being a water repellent agent, measures the aging of a bitumen binder, contributing to a slower oxidation of oils and resins in asphalt concrete, thereby prolonging its service life.
The use of silica gel (a waste of the processing of phosphorites) and the secondary distillation of fat tar allows to reduce the consumption of bituminous binder by 10-15%, which helps to increase the heat resistance and shear stability of the mixture.
Limestone-limestone sawing waste is generated in quarries when sawing limestone-shell rock into wall blocks. In this case, up to 40% of waste is generated.
1-3. The chemical composition and physicomechanical indices of average samples of sawing waste of limestone-shell rock are given in Tables 1-3.
Physico-mechanical indicators characterize sawing waste as porous materials with a tensile strength in compression of a cube with an edge of 5 cm to 10 MPa. By grain composition, the 0-5 mm fraction is 50% composed of particles of less than 0.315 mm, including particles of less than 0.071 mm containing up to 30%
Silica gel is a waste of the sulfate processing of natural phosphorites (apatites) in the production of phosphoric acid, ammonium phosphate and other concentrated phosphate fertilizers. In this work, we used silica gel of the Nevinnomyssk Chemical Combine "Nitrogen".
The water content in the used silica gel was 27% hydrofluoric acid 0.7 08% specific surface area of the
6. The chemical composition of the average sample of dried silica gel is presented in table 5, and the physical and mechanical properties in table 6.
The secondary distillation of fat tar waste products at oil and fat plants during the distillation of fatty acids contains fats, glycyrin, polymers, etc. Melting point (softening point) of about 60 ° C, the combustion temperature (ignition) 280-300 ° C, a saponification value of 211 mg KOH / g, an acid number of 3.57 mg KOH / g, the fatty acid content of 86.4% in the normative document no waste.
Comparative analysis with the prototype allows us to conclude that the inventive asphalt mixture is distinguished by the introduction of new components, namely silica gel, the waste of the processing of phosphorites and the secondary distillation of fatty tar. Therefore, the claimed technical solution meets the criterion of "novelty."
Analysis of the known technical solutions showed that the use of some water-repellents and activators in the composition of asphalt mixtures is known. However, their use in mixtures in combination with porous shell limestones does not provide the mixtures with the properties that they exhibit in the claimed solution, namely, a significant increase in the coefficient of water resistance and heat resistance and, as a result, an increase in the durability of the coating at a lower consumption of organic binder. Thus, this composition of the components gives the asphalt concrete mixture new properties, which allows us to conclude that the proposed solution meets the criterion of "significant differences".
For experimental verification of the claimed composition were prepared 5 options for the composition of mixtures of ingredients, of which
Limestone-limestone sawing waste was used as a mineral material, BND 60/90 binder as a binding bitumen, secondary distillation of fat tar as a surfactant of a hydrophobizer, and dried silica gel as an activator of waste sulfuric acid processing of natural phosphorites in the production of phosphoric acid and concentrated phosphate fertilizers.
7. Mixtures were prepared as follows. First, limestone-shell rock of a fraction of 5-15 mm was fed into the compulsory mixer, after which bitumen (pre-prepared with additives from the waste of secondary fat tar) was introduced in an amount of 40-45% of its total weight per batch. The mixture was stirred for 20 s. Then limestone-shell rock of a fraction of 0-5 mm, dried silica gel and the remaining amount of bitumen with the addition of a secondary distillation of fat tar were fed into the mixer. The mixture was stirred for 45 s. Samples from the asphalt mixture were molded and tested according to GOST 12801-84. The results of comparative tests are summarized in table 7.
From the table. 7 it follows that the asphalt mixture of the proposed composition has, in comparison with the prototype, a significantly higher coefficient of water resistance K drain. 0,90-0,95, higher values of the compression channel 50
