Abstract
Description
The invention relates to protective equipment, and more particularly to suits for fire fighting and for rescue operations in the fire.
A firefighter’s protective suit is known, made at one time with a helmet made of heat-resistant insulating material, worn over the firefighter’s combat clothing, made in the form of overalls and having a protective shoulder pad connected to the dashboard, and a cooling system with a blower fixed to the dashboard and thermal batteries (SU 1233851 Cl. A 41 D 13/00, 1986). This decision was made as the closest analogue.
However, it has drawbacks consisting in a rapid increase in the temperature of the suit space due to both the heat flux from the fire source and the heat generated by the human body, which does not allow working for a long time in the fire area.
The objective of the present invention is to increase the possibility of continuous operation in the fire by reducing the temperature in the suit space.
This problem was solved due to the fact that the firefighter’s protective suit, made at the same time with a helmet made of heat-resistant insulating material, worn over the firefighter’s combat clothing, made in the form of overalls and having a protective shoulder pad connected to the dashboard, and a cooling system with a blower mounted on the dashboard board, and thermal batteries, made in the form of overalls so that part of the surface of combat clothing on the back does not overlap, the cooling system contains a vikh attached to the dashboard I’m digging a tube to separate the air flow and discharge its hot part into the atmosphere, and the cold part into the under-hood space, and the thermal batteries are mounted in the protective shoulder pad so that the hot junctions are on its front part, and the cold junctions are on the back. In addition, the task is solved due to the fact that there is an air filter on the line from the cooling system to the helmet.
The invention is illustrated by drawings, which depict the proposed protective suit, figure 1 is a rear view, figure 2 is a front view.
The protective suit includes a jumpsuit 1, made at the same time with a helmet 2 having a
A protective suit is used as follows.
The suit is put on before extinguishing fire over the firefighter’s combat clothing. First they put on shoes and overalls. Then fix the
1. When working near the fire, the material of the overalls 1 protects the firefighter from thermal radiation and flame. Through the surfaces of the firefighter’s combat clothing, not covered by overalls, intense heat and air exchange of the firefighter’s body with the atmosphere occurs.
Due to lowering the temperature and due to heat and air exchange through surfaces not covered by overalls, working conditions are improved in the suit space, which allows to increase the permissible duration of work in a suit. The costume does not require an energy source.
