Abstract
Description
The invention relates to medicine, in particular to traumatology, and can be used in the treatment of cold injury.
[1]. Known methods of treating cold injury with drugs [1].
The disadvantage of using these cold injury drug treatment regimens is the lack of antioxidant and antihypoxant drugs in their composition.
It is known to use the drug parietin as an adaptogen for the prevention and treatment of hypoxic conditions [2]. However, this drug has not been used to treat cold injury.
The purpose of the invention is to reduce the time and improve the results of treatment of patients with severe forms of frostbite.
A method for treating cold injury with parietin is proposed.
The method is as follows. In the pre-reactive and early reactive period, sufferers of a cold injury who received III-IV degree of frostbite of the extremities, along with traditional drug therapy, are prescribed the drug parietin in a dosage of 0.5 g 2 times a day: morning and evening for 10 days, then after a week break, the drug is resumed for 10 days.
The treatment results were evaluated by the duration of bleeding, the concentration of fibrinogen, the fibrinolytic activity of blood serum, as well as by the content of alkaline phosphatase in the blood of the victims.
After taking parietin, the victims complained less of pain in places of frostbite, the appetite did not suffer. They were more active. The duration of the hospital stay was reduced by 7-9 hospital days.
22,3%. Example. Patient M. was admitted with a diagnosis of Frostbite of both feet III tbsp. Against the background of traditional treatment, parietin was administered per os no. 0.5 g 2 times a day for 10 days, then after a week break, the drug was resumed for 10 days. At 3-4 days, a decrease in pain intensity was noted, edema of the feet did not increase, the patient's well-being for the entire time of treatment with parietin remained satisfactory. From the 1st to the 10th day, an increase in the content of alkaline phosphatase by 22.3% was noted.
From the 17th to the 27th day there was an increase in the content of alkaline phosphatase by 20.3%. The indicators of the blood coagulation system and the fibrinolysis system returned to normal on the 17th day (see tab. 1-4). The wounds healed independently, the patient was discharged from the hospital on the 30th day after admission.
