The invention relates to the field of synthesis of adsorbents based on oxide materials and can be used to increase the efficiency of the processes of adsorption of organic and inorganic substances from aqueous solutions, purification of industrial wastewater containing oil products, phenols, heavy metals, fine treatment of drinking water, extraction of valuable components from solutions .
- С. 57-59.).A known method of producing hydroxide and alumina by electroerosive dispersion of an aluminum wire in water. Subsequent calcination of the hydroxide at a temperature of 400 o C for 6-8 hours receive an adsorbent with a specific surface area of 400 m 2 / g (Fominsky L.P., Gorozhankin E.V., Danzig G.A.). Some properties of powders obtained by the EDM method. In collection: Plasma chemistry-79. The Third All-Union Symposium on Plasma Chemistry. Abstracts of reports. - M .: Nauka, 1979. - S. 57-59.).
Closest to the claimed technical solution is a method of producing an adsorbent in accordance with Russian Patent N 2075345, IPC B 01 J 20/06 (publ. BI N 8, 1997). According to this method, an ultrafine aluminum powder with a specific surface area of 5 to 20 m 2 / g, obtained by electric explosion of an aluminum wire in argon, is subjected to water treatment at 50-60 o C, followed by calcination at 300-500 o C for 1-3 hours .
The disadvantage of this method is the relatively low capacity of the adsorbent with respect to phonols and heavy metals, especially ferrous iron.
The objective of the invention is to develop a method for producing an adsorbent based on highly dispersed aluminum oxide from an ultrafine aluminum powder having a higher adsorption capacity with respect to phonols and heavy metals.
The technical result is achieved by the fact that obtained by treating an ultrafine aluminum powder with hot water, followed by calcining at a temperature of 300-500 o C for 1-3 hours, the adsorbent is additionally boiled in a saturated solution of sodium bicarbonate NaHCO 3 O for 0.5-1.5 h, then washed with water and again calcined at a temperature of 200-300 o C for 1.5-3 hours
Distinctive features of the proposed technical solution are the treatment of the adsorbent by boiling in a saturated solution of sodium bicarbonate and re-calcination of the adsorbent at 200-300 o C for 1.5-3 hours
1.Example 1. 10 g of an adsorbent obtained from an ultrafine aluminum powder by treating it with water at 60 ° C followed by calcination at 300 ° C for 2.5 hours is boiled in saturated sodium bicarbonate solution for 1 hour, then the solution is filtered off, the adsorbent is washed water and calcined in an oven at a temperature of 250 o C for 2 hours. The adsorbent obtained in this way in capacity significantly exceeds the adsorbent of the prototype. The characteristics of the obtained adsorbent in comparison with the prototype are given in table. 1.
The above data show that the adsorbent obtained by the claimed method has approximately the same capacity as the prototype for water-soluble petroleum products, but is 1.25 - 5 times greater than the adsorbent for the prototype in terms of adsorption of phenols, heavy metals, halogens.
2. The effect of temperature and duration of re-calcination of an adsorbent treated with soda on its adsorption capacity is shown in Table 1 as an example of the adsorption of ferrous iron. 2.
From the data table. 2 shows that the largest adsorbent capacity corresponds to the conditions of re-calcination of 200-300 o C and the calcination time of 1.5-3 hours
The above results show that the inventive method for producing an adsorbent significantly improves its adsorption ability with respect to phenols, heavy metals and halogens, without reducing the capacity for water-soluble oil products.
