Известны составы масс для изготовления углеродсодержащих огнеупоров из огнеупорного наполнителя, в качестве которого могут быть использованы корунд, оксид магния, доломит, карбид кремния, углеродистого компонента - графита, сажи или кокса и связующего в виде полимера, полученного гомополимеризацией резорцинола. Связующее представляет собой сухую термопластичную смесь резорцинола, изомеров дигидроксидифенила и изомеров тригидрокcидифенила с температурой размягчения около 80oC. Поставленная задача решается составом массы углеродсодержащих огнеупоров, который содержит огнеупорный наполнитель, например оксид магния, корунд, доломит, карбид кремния по отдельности и в смеси, углеродистый компонент в виде графита, сажи или кокса и связующее - алкилрезорциновую смолу, модифицированную карбамидформальдегидным олигомером, вводимым в количестве 5-20% от содержания алкилрезорциновой смолы, при следующем соотношении компонентов, мас.%: алкилрезорциновая смола, модифицированная карбамидформальдегидным олигомером - 5-30, углеродистый компонент - 3-30, огнеупорный наполнитель - остальное.
