SUBSTANCE: composition contains refractory filler such as magnesium oxide, corundum, dolomite, silicon carbide, individually or in mixtures; carbonaceous component (3-30%); and binding agent: alkylresorcinol acid modified with urea-formaldehyde oligomer (5-30%). EFFECT: simplified hardening technology and improved environmental condition.

Известны составы масс для изготовления углеродсодержащих огнеупоров из огнеупорного наполнителя, в качестве которого могут быть использованы корунд, оксид магния, доломит, карбид кремния, углеродистого компонента - графита, сажи или кокса и связующего в виде полимера, полученного гомополимеризацией резорцинола. Связующее представляет собой сухую термопластичную смесь резорцинола, изомеров дигидроксидифенила и изомеров тригидрокcидифенила с температурой размягчения около 80oC.
