Abstract
Description
The invention relates to photography, in particular, for processing black and white silver halide photographic materials for various purposes (negative and positive photographic films, photographic paper, photographic plates) and can be used in the process of chemical-photographic processing.

The disadvantages of the known developers are their short shelf life due to the rapid oxidation of concentrates and a decrease in photographic activity, determined by the change in its appearance / color change, turbidity and precipitation /. In addition, the known formulations of concentrated developers are designed for the manufacture and storage of concentrates in a single volume of water. Such solutions are intended for processing a certain type of photographic material, which significantly limits the scope of their use.
The aim of the invention is to develop a composition of a universal concentrated developer with high safety and which can be used for processing various types of photographic materials, as well as a method for preparing a working solution of a developer from concentrates, which allows to expand its technological capabilities by changing photographic activity.

1:10.The indicated technical effect is achieved in that a universal concentrated developer containing a combination of developing substances, a preserving agent, an accelerating agent, an anti-veiling agent and water, is characterized in that the concentrated developer consists of two parts, one of which contains hydroquinone as a preserving agent - sodium sulfite, an accelerating agent - sodium carbonate, an antiviral agent - potassium bromide and optionally benzotriazole, boric acid, and hydroxyethylene osphonic acid and water, in the following ratio of components / g / l /:
hydroquinone - 18 - 80
sodium sulfite - 60 - 208
sodium carbonate - 70 - 210

The method of obtaining a developer working solution from concentrates by diluting them with water is characterized in that the first part of the concentrate is poured into the water with constant stirring, and then the second part when the ratio of these parts is from 10: 1 to 1: 5 and the volume ratio of the concentrate mixture and water equal to from 1: 1 to 1:10.
As experimental studies show, the relationship between the individual parts of concentrates in working solutions can be in the range from ten times the first part, i.e. / 10

Analysis of the data /
Concentrates prepared using distilled water are stored twice as long as on the basis of drinking water.
25%.Various combinations of the first and second parts, as well as water, expand the technological properties of the developer and provide the opportunity to choose the appropriate solution for processing almost any type of contrast photographic material, both domestic and foreign, used in our country. At the same time, changing various ratios of concentrates and water, it is possible to increase or decrease the photographic characteristics of the photographic material. So, according to the given parameters of
