Abstract
Description
The invention relates to the production of composite fibrous material with high hydrophilic properties and intended for use in various fields of the national economy in the manufacture of products for which the requirements of high sorption ability, capillary transport and filtering properties are imposed.
8 - 9). Known sheet absorbent fibrous material, consisting of viscose (66 wt.%) And polyester (34 wt.%) Fibers (Catalo "All clinics",
The specified material has insufficient strength characteristics.
The closest analogue of the described invention is a sheet of absorbent fibrous material containing cellulose, an inorganic additive and a polymer sorbent (EP, application N 0278601, A 61 L 15/00, 1988).
This material as an inorganic additive contains a compound selected from the group consisting of alumina, silica, zeolite and substances of the kaolin group, and as a polymer sorbent an acrylic acid-based product or an acrylic acid salt.
Having high sorption properties, this material does not provide selective sorption in relation to pathogenic microflora.
A new technical result from the use of the present invention is to give the material selective sorption with respect to pathogenic microflora while maintaining a complex of sorption properties.
This result is achieved in that the absorbent sheet material containing cellulose, an inorganic additive and a polymer sorbent according to the invention further comprises viscose fiber and epichlorohydrin-modified fibrous sodium carboxymethyl cellulose with a water retention rate of 350-700%, containing carbon-modified alumina as an inorganic additive specific surface 80 - 300 m 2 / g, pore volume with radius - 0.008 - 0.250 cm 3 / g and with a radius - 0.005 - 0.100 cm 3 / g, and as a polymer sorbent crosslinked polyvinyl alcohol with water absorption of 1500 - 2100% in the following ratio of these components, wt.%:
Cellulose - 14.4 - 19.2
Viscose fiber - 46.0 - 56.0
Carbon Modified Alumina - 11.5 - 23.0
Crosslinked Polyvinyl Alcohol - 3.0 - 4.0
Fibrous sodium carboxymethyl cellulose - 8.8 - 14.1
The improvement of the sorption properties of the proposed material, as established by the authors of the present invention, is due to a previously unknown combination of the fibrous "part" of the composite — cellulose, viscose fiber and fibrous sodium carboxymethyl cellulose with a water retention rate of 350–700% (manufactured according to TU 6-05-5146-86 or TU 6 -55-221-1010-89) with the above inorganic additive and polymer sorbent with the specified ratio of the components of the entire material.
The use of fibrous sodium carboxymethyl cellulose in combination with viscose and cellulose fibers creates a certain structure of absorbent fibrous sheet material that can absorb much more moisture.
The indicated water retention limits for the fibrous sodium carboxymethyl cellulose used are necessary to create the optimal structural strength and sorption properties of the proposed material.
Carbon-modified alumina (carbon-mineral sorbent SUMS-1) with the indicated values of the specific surface and pore volumes at various ranges of their radius, produced according to FS N 42-3283 (see also (3)), due to the highly developed surface combining the centers polar and non-polar nature, to a large extent provides a material with specific sorption (selective in relation to pathogenic microflora).
Used in the composition of the proposed composite material, cross-linked polyvinyl alcohol with water absorption of 1500 - 2100%, produced according to TU 6-05-05-277, due to swelling in the process of absorption of wound exudate contributes to a sharp decrease in reverse sorption.
The proposed sheet absorbent material is made as follows.
Cellulose, mainly sulfate, and rayon are dispersed in water. Cellulose can be pre-milled to 20 - 22 o SR. Then, in accordance with the composition of the proposed material, SUMS-1, crosslinked polyvinyl alcohol and fibrous sodium carboxymethyl cellulose are added. Further, the suspension, with a certain degree of dilution, is formed on a grid of a paper machine. Drying the molded composite is carried out in the drying part of the paper machine.
The material is prepared at various ratios of components and the characteristics of the individual components. The specific values of these values used in examples 1 to 3 are presented in the table.
д.As can be seen from the table, the proposed material has selective microbial sorption in relation to pathogenic microflora. Thus, the proposed material provides a reduction in the number of microbial bodies by 1 cm 2 to (4 - 8.6) • 10 3 by the third to fifth days of the treatment process, while medical gauze soaked with hypertonic solution (0.9%) is currently widely used NaCl), provides for the treatment of wounds, the value of a similar indicator of at least 1.3 • 10 4 . (The initial microbial contamination of the wound is 10 4 -10 5 microbial bodies per 1 cm 2 ). This, in turn, will expand the operational characteristics of the proposed material - for example, use it as a component that reduces the infection of the filter by pathogenic microflora, when filtering air in the dairy, pharmaceutical industry, etc.
In addition, the material has the following set of sorption properties:
Absorbency with full immersion is in the range of 800 - 900%, and surface absorbency is not more than 1 s.
