Abstract
Description
The invention relates to foundry and can be used for casting hollow products with penetrating cooling, in particular gas turbine blades.
A known method of manufacturing ceramic rods for casting double-walled hollow products with penetrating cooling [1]. This method includes the manufacture of a main ceramic rod and an additional rod in the form of a thin quartz plate connected together using quartz studs.
The use of such a rod allows you to cast a hollow product, in the walls of which a thin ceramic plate forms a narrow gap that repeats the product profile, and the studs form the metering holes for the entrance and exit of cooling air. The described method has a number of significant technological disadvantages. First, thin quartz plates are not very suitable for casting single-crystal products due to the low strength of quartz at high temperatures of pouring melt with nickel heat-resistant alloys. Secondly, flat quartz plates are formed according to the product profile using the creep method in shaped molds, which is a difficult to control process at high temperatures. Thirdly, fixing and connecting the quartz plate to the main core using quartz studs installed in numerous holes and sockets drilled or made by the laser method is extremely time-consuming and expensive.
The closest in technical essence and the achieved effect is a method for producing a composite ceramic rod, consisting of a main and thin-walled additional rod [2]. The main ceramic rod is made by pressing a ceramic mass, consisting of a mixture of corundum powders of a given particle size distribution and a plasticizer, followed by high-temperature firing.
An additional rod is formed by pressing from the same ceramic mass in the form of a flat billet with a surface relief, then it is bent along the profile of the main rod and subjected to high-temperature firing. Thus obtained additional rod is installed on the main rod and connect them together. In the practical implementation of this method, significant difficulties arose.
Firstly, pressing thin additional rods involves the use of high pressures, which significantly increases the wear of the mold. Along with this pressing, it is practically impossible to obtain thin, long additional rods, which limits the range of manufactured composite ceramic rods. Secondly, when a thin additional rod of a curvilinear shape is removed from the main rod and subsequent firing, an additional rod is warped, which increases the likelihood of a defect in geometry.
The technical task of this invention is to develop a reliable and economical method of obtaining a composite ceramic rod, providing increased yield and reduced marriage in geometry. To achieve this goal, a method for producing a composite ceramic rod was proposed, including the manufacture of the main rod by pressing ceramic mass and high-temperature firing, the manufacture of an additional rod by molding the ceramic mass into a flat billet with a surface relief, profiling the workpiece along the contour of the main rod, installing an additional rod on the main and their compounds, the additional core being formed by rolling or stamping ceramic m ssy, and additional high temperature calcining is carried out after the rod connected to the core rod. In addition, the molding of the additional rod in the present invention is carried out in two stages: first, a flat billet of ceramic mass is rolled, and then a surface relief is applied by stamping or rolling.
Salient features of the invention are a change in the method of forming an additional rod and a change in the sequence of operations of high-temperature firing. The proposed method of forming an additional rod consists in rolling or stamping a ceramic mass, and high-temperature firing is carried out after installing an additional rod on the surface of the main rod and their connection, while in the prototype the additional rod is formed by pressing, and the firing precedes installation on the main rod.
An unfinished prefabricated in this way has sufficiently good flexibility. The minimum radius of curvature of the bend without the appearance of cracks and tears is determined by the thickness of the workpiece, the density of the deposition of relief elements. The flexibility of the workpiece allows you to profile it along the complex contour of the main rod with the provision of tight contact and connection of relief elements with the curved surface of the main rod. This operation is carried out in a crimp die on the entire surface of the main rod, or in certain places. In order to avoid damage to the protruding relief elements during bending of the workpiece in the crimp die, an intermediate model is preliminarily made on the main rod. This ensures the constancy of the gap / 0.5-0.8 mm / between the main and additional rod, which ensures the necessary geometry of the composite rod with a given accuracy.
In the process of joint high-temperature firing of the main rod and the preform connected to it, the binder burns out, the particle powders sinter and the preform turns into a ceramic additional rod. During firing, there is also sintering of the additional rod with the main rod at the points of contact of the relief elements with the surface of the latter. A strong connection is only possible if the coefficients of thermal linear expansion and shrinkage of both elements of the composite rod are close. Firing should be carried out in a ceramic driver to ensure dimensional stability and the shape of the composite rod.

прокаткой получали гладкую ленту из смеси порошков Al2O3 гранулометрического состава и полимерного связующего;

30%.- applied double-
Thus, the proposed method allows the manufacture of composite ceramic rods for casting hollow products with penetrating cooling with high yield and low percentage of defective geometry. Given the high cost of single-crystal blades with effective penetrating cooling for aircraft gas turbine engines (GTE) and stationary gas turbine units (GTU), the proposed method provides the creation of an economical technology for the production of such blades.
