Abstract
Description
The invention relates to the oil and gas industry, in particular to the field of impact on the reservoir in order to intensify oil production.
A known method of exposure to carbonate formations in oil wells, based on the use of low molecular weight carboxylic acids with the addition of corrosion inhibitors and surfactants.
However, the known method is characterized by low efficiency in connection with the use of weak acids.
The aim of the invention is to increase the efficiency of treatments of the reservoir in high temperature wells.
This goal is achieved in that the composition for processing carbonate formations in high-temperature wells, including hydrochloric and acetic acids, additionally contains a cationic surfactant and acetone in the following ratios of ingredients, wt.%:
Hydrochloric acid - 12 - 15
Acetic acid - 3 - 5
Surfactant (cationic active) - 0.2 - 0.4
Acetone - 5 - 12
Water - Else
It is known that the reaction rate of hydrochloric acid at high (up to 100 o C or more) temperatures increases sharply.
In this regard, the efficiency of hydrochloric acid treatments of carbonate reservoirs of high-temperature wells is significantly reduced. This is due to the rapid neutralization of acids in the bottomhole formation zone. To ensure a deeper penetration of acid into the formation and, accordingly, to increase the effectiveness of the treatment, it is necessary to slow down the rate of reaction of the acid with the formation rock. It is proposed for this purpose to use an additive of acetone. The condensation products of acetone in the presence of hydrochloric acid have inhibitory properties with a significant decrease in the rate of reaction of the acid with the formation rock.
In addition, acetone and its condensation products increase the filtering ability of the composition, which increases the coverage of the reservoir by thickness and strike.
Acetic acid additive serves as a stabilizer of hydrochloric acid. The introduction of a cationic surfactant into the solution serves to reduce surface tension and inhibit corrosion of equipment and pipes.
91 - 94%. The proposed technical solution was tested in laboratory conditions on core samples of Zaikinsky group of oil fields of the Orenburg region. The content of calcium carbonate in the samples reached 91 - 94%.
The experiments were carried out at a temperature of 100 - 105 o C, corresponding to the reservoir temperature of these deposits. Sample holding time up to 20 min.
The test results are shown in the table below.
The test results show that a small (2%) addition of acetone sharply reduces the rate of reaction of hydrochloric acid with carbonates. An increase in the additive to 5–12% leads to its decrease by 5–7 times. A further increase in the acetone content in the solution no longer has a practical effect.
Field tests of the proposed solution have confirmed its effectiveness.
73,7 - 75,1%. If before applying this method the number of treatments with a positive result was 23.1 - 27.2% of the number of all operations, now it has increased to 73.7 - 75.1%.
The recommended composition is obtained by simple mixing of the components at the wellhead using a mobile unit for acid treatments. Mixing time is 10-15 minutes.
The technology of the operation to treat the formation is common for hydrochloric acid treatments.
