In installing, switch or frog chair 1 is axially aligned with axis of at least one hole preliminarily made along longitudinal axis of switch plate 2 or frog carriage. Connection is effected by welding over hole perimeter. EFFECT: high efficiency. 4 dwg

Description

 The invention relates to the upper structure of the railway track, in particular, to methods for attaching switch and cross pads to the lining and carriages of turnouts.

 A known method of fastening arrow and cross-shaped pillows to gaskets and carriages by means of rivets (application Germany N 2856850, CL E 01 B 7/02, 1983).

The disadvantages of this method are:
insufficient reliability of the connection, since during operation there is a collapse of the rivet heads and a weakening of the attachment of the pillows to the linings;
increase in operating costs, since in the case of a weakened rivet connection, it has to be repaired along the way;
the weakening and protrusion from the pillows of the rivet heads prevents the movement of the movable rail elements, which impedes the normal operation of the switch;
significant costs for the manufacture of this connection of pillows with linings (carriages), since it requires accurate drilling of a group of holes, their countersink, riveting the lining to the pillow, machining the upper surface after riveting.

 The technical result of the invention is to ensure the reliability of fastening for the entire period of operation, which eliminates the occurrence of emergency situations. In addition, manufacturing costs as well as operating costs for maintaining skid translations are reduced.

 The essence of the invention lies in the fact that in the method of attaching the pillow to the switch lining or carriage of the crosspiece of the turnout switch, including installing the pillow on the lining or carriage having holes and connecting them, at least one hole in the lining or carriage along the longitudinal axis of the lining or the carriage, the installation of the pillow is carried out coaxially with the axis of the hole, and the connection is made by perimeter welding.

 The hole is made only in the lining (carriage), i.e. in the lower of the elements to be connected, it always ensures an even upper working surface of the pillow along which the rails move.

 This also eliminates the additional processing of the pillow (drilling, machining of the working surface), which reduces production costs.

 In addition, the hole for welding is punching, not drilling, which also reduces manufacturing costs.

 Closed-loop welding is performed in automatic mode, which ensures its high quality.

 in FIG. 1 shows a pillow 1 assembly with a lining 2; in FIG. 2 the same plan; in FIG. 3 pillow 1 complete with a gun carriage 3; in FIG. 4 same plan.

 The method of attaching the pillow to the lining on the arrow is as follows (Fig. 1 and 2).

 Two holes are punched in the lining in the direction from top to bottom. The longitudinal axis of the pillow is aligned with the common axis of the holes. After that, two elements are welded around the perimeter of the holes in automatic mode.

 Fastening the pillow to the carriage on the crosspiece is carried out in a similar way (Fig. 3, 4).

 An oval hole is punched in the carriage in the direction from top to bottom. The longitudinal axis of the pillow is aligned with the longitudinal axis of the hole. After that, two elements are welded around the perimeter of the hole in automatic mode.

  1.  A method of attaching an arrow or crosspiece cushion to an arrow lining or carriage of a crosspiece of a turnout switch, comprising installing an arrow or crosspiece cushion, respectively, to a switch lining or carriage of a crosspiece and connecting a switch or crosspiece cushion with an arrow lining or carriage of a crosspiece, characterized in that the installation of an arrow or crosspiece carried out by combining its longitudinal axis and the axis of at least one hole previously made along the longitudinal axis arrow liner or mast crosses, and the connection produced by welding the perimeter of the hole.
