Abstract
Description
The invention relates to the field of separation of gas and liquid mixtures, in particular to methods of membrane separation.
A known method of separating gas mixtures (ed. St. USSR N 1217457, class B 01 D 53/22, 1986) by passing the mixture through a semi-permeable polymer membrane of a silicon-organic block copolymer: polycarbonate or polysulfone-polydimethylsiloxane membrane, which additionally contains a polymer layer of fluorine-containing silicic ester or (meth) acrylic acid.
The known separation method using the specified membrane is not suitable for the separation of mixtures containing hydrogen fluoride due to the low chemical resistance of the membrane material to hydrogen fluoride.
In the known method of membrane separation of mixtures according to ed. USSR N 1754187, class B 01 D 61/00, 1992, including feeding a separable mixture on one side of a semipermeable membrane and selecting penetrated components on the other, poly (4,4-difluoro-5-5-bis (trifluoromethyl) -3 is used as a membrane material, 5-cyclopentylenevinyl). This method provides sufficient selectivity in the separation of gas mixtures such as helium-nitrogen, helium-methane, hydrogen-nitrogen, hydrogen-methane, hydrogen-carbon monoxide, etc.
However, the permeability of hydrogen fluoride through the membrane material is insufficient for their use in technological devices.
12-4,3•103).The closest in technical essence to the claimed solution is a method of membrane separation of hydrogen fluoride (J. Chemical fibers, 1990,
M= NHQ, OQ' или углеводородный радикал, Q=H или углеводородный радикал, Q'= H, NH4 щелочной металл, М'=(NH)nQ''; Q''=H,NH2, Q''' NH2; Q''' углеводородный радикал; m 4,55-29; q,q'=1-6; l 1-2; K=3 или 5; p 1-5; n≥1.However, the permeability of hydrogen fluoride through the membrane material is insufficient and equal to
The proposed technical solution is aimed at solving the problem of increasing the productivity of the release of hydrogen fluoride and increasing selectivity. The problem is solved due to the fact that in the known method of membrane separation of hydrogen fluoride, which includes supplying a separable mixture on one side of a semipermeable membrane from a tetrafluoroethylene copolymer and selecting penetrated hydrogen fluoride on the other hand, a tetrafluoroethylene vinyl ester copolymer of the formula is used:
M = NHQ, OQ ′ or a hydrocarbon radical, Q = H or a hydrocarbon radical, Q ′ = H, NH 4 alkali metal, M ′ = (NH) n Q ″; Q '' = H, NH 2 , Q '''NH2; Q ″ ″ hydrocarbon radical; m 4.55-29; q, q '= 1-6; l 1-2; K is 3 or 5; p 1-5; n≥1.
The proposed technical solution allows to increase the productivity of the release of hydrogen fluoride and increase the selectivity of separation due to the choice of membrane material that provides significantly higher permeability coefficients of hydrogen fluoride in comparison with the known membrane materials.
Example. The determination of hydrogen fluoride permeability was carried out on samples of flat membranes with a working diameter of 50 mm and a thickness of 50-60 microns. The membranes were tested on a setup including a diffusion cell, consisting of two chambers (working and measuring), separated by the material under study, a vacuum-tight metering device and a chromatographic analyzer with various detectors. The studied compounds were fed into the working chamber, and permeate was sampled and samples were introduced into the chromatographic analyzer from the measuring chamber using a vacuum-tight dispenser. Based on the results of chromatographic measurements, permeability coefficients were calculated. The selectivity coefficients of hydrogen fluoride were determined with respect to Freon-14 (tetrafluoromethane).
The test results of the copolymers of various structural formulas are shown in the table.
From the data in the table it is seen that the proposed solution provides an increase in the productivity of the release of hydrogen fluoride (30-500 times) and selectivity (5-15 times) compared with the technical solution selected as a prototype.
