Abstract

FIELD: entertainment equipment. SUBSTANCE: roulette has movable member and immovable part with track formed as hollow truncated cone, whose larger base makes top, and bottom with cells. Bottom is divided into numbered sections colored with at least two colors and provided with figures. Bottom is made integral with track, with mid portion of bottom being positioned at level higher than cell edges. Cells are formed as holes for receiving movable member and positioned in equally spaced relation about track lower edge adjacent to small base of truncated cone. Movable member is formed as spherical vessel for receiving bodies formed as regular many-sided members colored with different colors. Figures are applied to surfaces of many-sided members. Radius of spherical vessel is twice the length of body ribs. Spherical vessel is filled with transparent liquid. Density of transparent liquid exceeds or is less than that of body material and viscosity provides for nonrigid mechanical connection between spherical vessel and bodies. Bodies may be made cubical. Figures on side surfaces of bodies may be defined by points, from one to six points. Sections are numbered by numbers from one to six. Description

 The invention relates to the field of sports, games, mass entertainment. It can be used in gambling games, in which dice are traditionally used. (N.Ya. Vilenkin. Popular combinatorics, M. Nauka, 1975, p. 200).

Known roulette game (Great Soviet Encyclopedia, Vol. 3, v. 22, M. Sov. Encyclopedia, 1975, p. 362). The following disadvantages are inherent in this roulette:
the dependence of the test results (the number of cells into which the ball falls) on the heterogeneity of the rotating part of the roulette, as a result of which on each particular roulette certain numbers appear with a greater frequency than the others;
the skill of some croupiers allows them to calculate the ball’s launch force and the roulette’s rotation speed and, thus, send the ball to a predetermined sector;
the impossibility of manufacturing a perfectly balanced roulette rotor, which does not allow to obtain a uniform distribution of test results (a test in probability theory refers to the fulfillment of certain conditions under which an event of interest to us may occur (B.V. Gnedenko, A.Ya. Khinchin. An elementary introduction to probability theory, Vol. 6, M. Nauka, 1964, p. 144).

 One of the closest analogues is the game roulette device - US patent N 3690668, class. A 63 F 5/02, 12.09.72, containing a movable element and a fixed part, consisting of a whole track and bottom made at the same time, while the bottom is divided into several sectors, numbered and differently colored, and the middle of the bottom is located above the edges of the bottom cells, the track also has the shape of a hollow truncated cone.

 The disadvantages of the closest analogue include the incomplete independence of the test results from the strength of the initial throw.

 The aim of the invention are: to increase the random nature of the test results, to enhance the entertainment of the game, to simplify the construction of roulette, to increase the economic interest of those who play in big wins.

 This goal is achieved by the fact that the proposed roulette consists of two separate parts: a stationary massive base, and a movable - transparent container in the form of a ball with bodies of cubic or other geometrically regular shape placed in it, on the surface of the faces of which numbers are applied, for example, in the form of dots from one to six, with the cubic shape of the bodies (traditional dice [1] The non-rigid mechanical connection of these bodies with the fixed part is due to the viscosity of the liquid filling the container, when starting the last track along the ring track with its subsequent hit in one of the holes located around the circumference in the lower part of the bottom of the base.

 The game roulette contains a movable element and a fixed part. The movable part consists of an annular track track 1 and bottom 2 with cells 3 made in the form of holes, with the possibility of placing a movable element in them. In this case, track 1 is made in the form of a hollow truncated cone located with its large open base up, and the bottom 2 is divided into sectors 4, 5, 6, numbered 7 and painted in different colors (for example: 4 - red, 5 yellow, 6 blue ) Moreover, the bottom 2 is made integral with the track 1, and its middle is located above the edges of the cells 3, which are evenly spaced around the circumference near the lower edge of the track 1 at its small base. The movable element is made in the form of a spherical container (ball) 3, inside of which one or more bodies 9 are made with the possibility of free movement, made in the form of regular polyhedra. Bodies 9 can be colored differently, and numbers can be printed on the surface of their faces. The radius of the spherical container 8 is at least two times longer than the length of the ribs of the bodies 9, and the cavity of the spherical container 8 is filled with a transparent liquid, the density of which is greater or less than the density of the material of the bodies 9, and the viscosity provides a non-rigid mechanical connection of the spherical container 8 with the bodies 9 The bodies 9 can have a cubic shape, and the numbers on their faces can be formed by points from one to six, while sectors 4, 5, 6 are numbered from one to six.

 The random nature of a single test is achieved by the fact that, when a ball filled with liquid is placed in a container, the dice are thoroughly mixed, participating in simultaneous independent movements along the three axes of the Cartesian coordinate system, as well as in three independent rotations around these axes, when this container moves along the ring track of the track with sufficient speed.

 The rules of the game, specially developed for the proposed roulette, and the table of winnings, taking into account the distribution law of a random variable [4], the sum of the numbers (points) appearing on the upper faces of three dice, allow gaining in a single test, much higher than the possible winnings on traditional roulette, which increases material interest of the players in obtaining large wins. Taking into account the color and the number assigned to the sector enhances the attractiveness of the game and its entertainment.

 Evenly arranging (two or more) colors and numbers around a circle, for example, from one to six of each color, makes it almost impossible to send a balloon to a pre-designated sector (see drawing).

The positive effect provided by the new set of features is as follows:
increasing the random nature of the test results is achieved by increasing the number of degrees of freedom of movement of moving bodies (cubic or other form) in comparison with the analogue;
enhanced entertainment is achieved through a sufficiently long ball rolling and movement of cubic or other shapes of bodies of various colors inside the tank
a ball filled with a clear liquid;
a characteristic feature of the law of distribution of a random variable is the sum of the numbers that appear as a result of a unit test on the upper faces of two or more cubic bodies (dices) i.e. the low probability of the occurrence of rare combinations (such as 1 + 1 + 1 = 3 or 6 + 6 + 6 = 18) allows you to multiply the size of the maximum gain, which increases the economic interest of the players in large wins.

 Thus, the proposed roulette meets the criterion of "novelty."

 Proof of the materiality of the differences of the claimed technical solution.

 There are known designs of gaming roulette, containing a moving part with one degree of freedom of movement, a rotating rotor divided into sectors of different colors with a recess in each sector and a number assigned to it. A ball rolling towards the rotation of the rotor gets into these recesses.

 Compared with the known constructions, the claimed technical solution is distinguished by an increased number of degrees of freedom of movement of the moving parts: the ball capacity has six degrees of freedom relative to the Cartesian coordinate system, rigidly connected with the fixed part by the roulette base, and the bodies placed in the container have six degrees of freedom in coordinate system rigidly connected with the capacity.

 The increased number of degrees of freedom of bodies is a random number generator - provides a random nature of the test results.

 The law of distribution of a random value of the sum of the numbers read on the upper faces of the dice differs significantly from the law of the distribution of another random value of the numbers that appear on roulettes of a known type, which gives the roulette game new additional qualities.

A game roulette containing a movable element and a fixed part, consisting of a track in the form of a hollow truncated cone, located with its large open base upwards, and a bottom with cells, divided into several numbered sectors of at least two colors and made in one piece with a track and a middle located above the edges of the cells, characterized in that the cells are made in the form of holes with the possibility of placing a moving element in them and are uniformly located around the circumference near the lower edge of the track at its small nth base, and the movable element is made in the form of a spherical container, inside of which one or more bodies are placed with the possibility of free movement, made in the form of differently colored regular polyhedra, the numbers of which are marked on the surface of the faces, while the spherical container has a radius of at least twice the length of the edges of the bodies, and is filled with a transparent liquid having a density greater or less than the density of the material of the bodies and a viscosity that provides a non-rigid mechanical connection between the spherical container and those s.  2. Roulette according to claim 1, characterized in that the bodies have a cubic shape, and the numbers on the faces are formed by points from one to six, while the sectors are numbered from one to six.
