Затем шкуру овцы мочат и обезжиривают в течение 1 часа в растворе с концентрацией препарата "Новость" 1,5 гл^-1, кальцинированной соды 0,5 гл^-1. После очистки и обезжиривания шкуру обрабатывают в пикеле с концентрацией серной кислоты 2,2 гл^-1, уксусной кислоты 2 гл^-1 и поваренной соли 40 гл^-1 (pH 2,74) в течении 3-4 часов.
