Abstract
Description
The invention relates to the rubber industry, in particular the production of electrically conductive, heat-resistant rubber products.
A known method of manufacturing an electrically conductive material based on isoprene rubber, which consists in mixing rubber and ingredients to obtain a rubber mixture, after which 10-20 wt.h. of polar rubber, after which they vulcanize [1]
However, the resulting material does not have the necessary characteristics and has low values of heat resistance.
Closest to the invention is a method for producing an electrically conductive composite material, which consists in the manufacture of rollers of an electrically conductive rubber mixture based on styrene-butadiene rubber filled with electrically conductive carbon black, followed by vulcanization in a hydraulic process under pressure [2, p. 32]
However, the material based on it, having a sufficiently high electrical conductivity, is not sufficiently heat-resistant.
The aim of the invention is to provide a method for producing a composite material based on butadiene-containing rubber with high electrical conductivity and heat resistance while maintaining physical and mechanical characteristics.
The goal is achieved by using a method comprising mixing 100 wt.h. butadiene-containing rubber, 2-10 wt. including vulcanizing agent and 30-100 wt. including electrically conductive filler and vulcanization of the resulting composition under pressure. After vulcanization, the resulting rubber is subjected to additional heat treatment at 225-300 o C for 3-10 hours
Rubber compounds are prepared on rollers LB 320 160/160. Vulcanization of samples is carried out in a hydraulic process under pressure at 150 ± 3 o C. Heat treatment of rubbers was carried out in an air thermostat. Physico-mechanical indicators were determined according to GOST 270-75 and 211-41. Specific volume electrical resistance according to ISO 1853-75, heat resistance of the material was determined by thermochemical curves.
