Abstract
Description
The invention relates to a power system and can be used in thermal control systems and heat supply. Known heat storage composition, including paraffin, mineral oil, magnesium oxide and aerosil (ed. St. USSR N 893992, CL C 09 R 5/02, 1981). However, the composition has a low specific melting enthalpy of 75 84 J / g Known heat storage composition from a mixture of 10 to 15 wt. glass spheres, 3 to 5 wt. aerosil and paraffin (the rest) (ed. St. USSR N 1404516, published 23.06.88, BI N 23 prototype). However, this composition also has a low specific enthalpy of melting and does not contain antioxidant additives that allow it to be used in containers (heat accumulators) made of various metal alloys. The present invention solves the problem of increasing energy intensity and improving heat transfer when using alloys of various materials in a heat accumulator. The novelty of the proposed method compared to the known one consists in the use of 0.3 0.5% 2,6-di-tert-butyl-4-methylphenol as an additive to paraffin, which slows down the oxidation processes in paraffin under the action of the active metals that make up the alloys that allows you to expand the range of materials used for the manufacture of thermal batteries. In addition, heat transfer is improved during operation of the heat storage mixture, since long-term use of the mixture does not result in the formation of a thin film of oxidation products on the surface of the heat accumulator.
The proposed mixture is implemented as follows.
Pre-weighed paraffin and an antioxidant additive are melted at a temperature of 85 90 o C. After cooling the mixture to room temperature, a small portion is selected for calorimetric measurements, and the rest is subjected to thermal cycling. Thermocycling was carried out in containers from alloys AMG-6, stainless steel, and also from aluminum. The specific melting enthalpy was measured on a DTAP-5 series calorimetric unit with a water-cooled unit.
Examples of the implementation of the compositions
1. Smelted 99.7 g of paraffin and 0.3 g (0.3 wt.) Antioxidant additives. The melting point of the mixture (0.1 g), selected for analysis, is 52 59 o C, specific enthalpy of melting 180 J / g
2. Smelted at 90 o C99.6% paraffin (99.6 g) and 0.4% (0.4 g) of antioxidant additives. The melting point of the mixture 52.5 59.0 o With the specific enthalpy of melting 185 j / g
3. Smelted 99.5 g (99.5%) of paraffin and 0.5 g (0.5%) of antioxidant additives. The melting point of the mixture is 52.0 59.0 o C, specific enthalpy of melting 190 J / g
The increase in the amount of antioxidant additives more than 0.5 wt. does not lead to an improvement in the thermophysical characteristics of the specific enthalpy of melting of 1180 J / g for a composition of 99.0 wt. paraffin and 1.0 wt. antioxidant additives). With a decrease in the content of antioxidant additives less than 0.3 wt. after 350 cycles, a thin polymer film forms on the container.
позволяет увеличить удельную энтальпию плавления на 45 50 Дж/г;
The claimed composition has significant advantages compared with the known:
allows to increase specific enthalpy of melting by 45 50 J / g;
allows you to use various metals as a container.
