Abstract
Description
The invention relates to electronic devices for reflexology, designed to detect and impact on acupuncture points.
Ancient acupuncture served as a powerful impetus for modern medicine to understanding many unknown processes in the body of a healthy and sick person. Advances in high technology and new acupuncture methods (electro-, laser-, magneto-, phonopuncture) have allowed the creation of various medical devices.
Recently, electronic devices for acupuncture have been used. One of such devices (see the application of the Federal Republic of Germany N 3631600, A 61 H 39/00, 1988) contains a compact housing, which houses the energy source and the electronics. The device has a push button to start stimulation and a step switch to change the current strength. At the working end of the housing is a stimulating tip made of metal in the form of a rod. The device has a graduated sensitivity control.
The main disadvantage of the known device is the embodiment of the stimulating tip, pointed to the working end, which increases the likelihood of skin injuries when indicating acupuncture points. In addition, as you know, the presence of a variety of electrical switches and regulators increases the time spent by acupuncture points and increases the likelihood of device failure.
Known electronic device for reflexotherapy (see application Germany N 2928826, A 61 H 39/02, 1981), providing a search for biologically active points. The device comprises a housing with an energy source and an electronics unit located in it, an optical indicator, a stimulating tip, made in the form of an annular cylindrical (passive) and active electrodes located in its center. The working end of the active electrode is made in the form of a hemisphere. An insulating insert is placed between the electrodes. The electrodes form part of the electronics starter.
However, the design of the stimulating tip does not allow you to quickly and accurately find acupuncture points. In addition, the known device is not sufficiently reliable in operation and inconvenient to use due to the large number of electrical switches and bulkiness.
The aim of the invention is to create a reliable and easy-to-use device that can operate in automatic mode and allows to reduce the time of the acupuncture point search procedure, mark the found acupuncture points and at the same time reduce skin trauma.
The subject of the invention is the creation of a device for detecting, marking and impact on acupuncture points.
An electronic device for reflexology contains an energy source and an electronics unit located under the insert made of translucent material, an optical indicator and a stimulating tip formed by an indifferent (passive) cylindrical ring and active needle electrodes located in its center and made with a working end in the shape of a hemisphere, between which there is an insulating insert and which are connected to an optical indicator with the possibility of its inclusion when detecting acupu point and with an electronics unit, the stimulating tip being made at one end of the housing, the insulating insert is placed between the electrodes to form an annular cylindrical cavity on the side of the working part of the needle electrode, designed to mark the acupuncture point in the form of an electrode imprint on the skin and having a height, equal to at least two of its diameters, while the electrodes are connected to the electronics unit with the ability to connect an energy source to it and put it into search mode and contact with the skin and automatically switching this unit to a therapeutic mode when an acupuncture point is detected. Part of the housing of the electronic device may be made of translucent material. The device can be made with an audible alarm, which is located in the electronics.
The contact surface of the skin with a stimulating tip formed by a passive electrode ring with an active electrode in the center with a working end in the shape of a hemisphere allows you to quickly move the device across the skin when searching, marking and stimulating acupuncture points. Since the needle electrode is rounded, the passive electrode has a ring shape at the base, and the pressure on the skin is determined by the weight of the device (60 70 g), the pressure on the skin surface is minimal and cannot cause pain during the procedure, minimizing the likelihood of injuries. The presence of an electronic starter of the electronics unit, optical and audible indications, triggered automatically when an acupuncture point is detected, allows you to act on the latter for a short time.
When searching and acting on acupuncture points, it is necessary that the active and passive electrodes partially penetrate the skin in the projection area of the acupuncture point. The height of the annular cavity limits the amount of deformation of the skin. Since the working end of the active needle electrode has the shape of a hemisphere with a diameter of 1.5 to 2.0 mm, which, as a rule, corresponds to the size of the projection zone of the acupuncture point on the skin, an annular cavity having a height equal to at least two diameters of the active electrode allows provide a mode of elastic deformation of the skin and with a slight pressing of the stimulating tip to the skin to receive a short-term imprint of electrodes on it. The accuracy of localization and marking of the acupuncture point lies within the diameter of the needle electrode, i.e., 1.5 to 2 mm. The above allows to reduce the search time for acupuncture points while reducing trauma to the skin during the procedure.
In FIG. 1 shows a longitudinal section of a device for reflexology; in FIG. 2 its block diagram.
The electronic device for reflexology has a housing 1 made in the form of an elongated cylinder, in which an insert of translucent material is placed 2. A removable cover 3 is made at one end of the housing 3. At the opposite end of the housing there is a
The device operates as follows.
When searching for acupuncture points or their stimulation, a stimulating tip with a contact surface formed by passive and needle-shaped active electrode rings is applied to the skin. The device itself is placed vertically relative to the surface of the skin. The electrodes are electrically connected to an electronics unit that is in standby at this time. When the active and passive electrodes are closed through the skin, the electronic starter of the electronics block is activated and connects an energy source to it, and also turns the electronics block into the search mode of acupuncture points. By smoothly moving the stimulating tip over the surface of the skin, acupuncture points are searched. When the active electrode enters the localization zone of the acupuncture point, the optical indicator and the buzzer automatically turn on.
To mark the found acupuncture point, it is enough during the indication to easily press the tip against the skin surface to get a short-term (about 1 min) imprint of the electrodes in the form of a ring with a dot in the center.
At the moment the acupuncture point is detected, the electronic unit automatically switches to the therapeutic mode, the duration of which is determined for each acupuncture point in accordance with a specific technique.
In appearance, the device for reflexology is made in the form of a pen for writing. The body of the device, its cover and stimulating tip are made of metal (for example, copper) coated with nickel. The upper part of the body is made of translucent plastic. The insulating insert in the stimulating tip is made of dielectric plastic, for example, ebonite. The source of energy is silver-zinc disk sealed components SC-21, or their analogues, corresponding to the standard of the International Electrotechnical Commission SR-41. The optical indicator is made on the basis of a light emitting diode (or matrix). The sound signaling device is made on the basis of piezoceramics. The active needle and passive electrodes of the stimulating tip are connected to the electronics block, which is made on discrete elements and open-circuit integrated circuits. The electronics unit is designed in such a way that in the search mode of acupuncture points it consumes minimal energy from batteries and practically does not consume it when storing the device. This allows you to use the device for a long time without replacing the batteries.
An electronic device for reflexology allows you to quickly search for acupuncture points on the human body, mark them, as well as perform express diagnostics and therapy using acupuncture methods.
