Abstract
Description
The invention relates to protection against aggressive and toxic substances, and more particularly to materials for the manufacture of individual skin protection from mineral acids of various concentrations, including highly concentrated sulfuric, nitric acids, as well as from sulfur oxide and nitrogen vapor. The material can be obtained and used for the manufacture of acid-protective special clothing for acid workers in the chemical, petrochemical and defense industries.
Closest to the proposed one is an acid-protective non-woven fabric made of a chemically stable strongly basic anion exchange fiber based on an acrylonitrile copolymer, nitron fiber, lavsan piercing thread [1] The disadvantage of this fiber is that it does not provide protection against concentrated 94-98% sulfuric and nitric acids, as well as from sulfur and nitrogen oxides. When this polyacrylic fiber is exposed to concentrated sulfuric and nitric acids, they dissolve.
The technical task is to increase the mechanical strength and integrity of the material when exposed to concentrated acids.
The problem is solved in that the material is made of a strongly basic anion-exchange fiber in the OH form, knitted by knitting by fluorone or polypropylene yarns.
11-200. The stitching thread in the material is 11-200.
2. The protective material is made on the AGVSh-2 combing-knitting and wool unit.
To give the nonwoven material protective properties against acids of various concentrations, the anion exchange fiber from the Cl form is transferred directly to the OH form.
-N
Translation fibers in the OH-form is carried out by treating the material in a three-shaft padding PMT-180 2.1% aqueous alkali solution or 5.3% aqueous solution of soda, followed by washing to remove excess alkali, temperature of 80-90 C. heat chamber dryer. Drying is carried out to an air-dry state.
2.The material thus treated has a surface density of 1 m 2 380 ± 20 g / m 2 .
The restoration of the protective properties of the material after its infection with sulfur oxides, nitrogen, the liquid phase of sulfuric, nitric acids is carried out with a 2-3% soda solution, washing, drying.
Protective properties against large drops of sulfuric, nitric acid (droplet mass 0.2 g) at an infection density of 60-80 g per 1 m 2 are provided in two words of the material.
This package of fabric materials provides protection against fumes of sulfur oxides, nitrogen at a concentration of 0.1 mg / m for more than 150 minutes.
These material properties are maintained during multiple cycles of infection neutralization.
1 и 2. The test results of the above protective material are given in table. 1 and 2.
2.Assessment criterion (maximum permissible level) 0.11 mg / cm 2 .
