Abstract
Description
The invention relates to flotation concentration of minerals and can be used in collective and selective flotation in the processes of beneficiation of ores, non-ferrous and rare metals, where regulatory reagents are used.
A known method of flotation of mineral processing using in the process of conditioning pulp reagent-regulator of soda ash and carboxymethyl cellulose [1]
The disadvantage of this method is the low rate of copper recovery, not exceeding 74%
Closest to the proposed method is flotation concentration of copper-containing ores, including grinding, conditioning pulp with sodium sulfide, collector and foaming agent and subsequent separation with the release of valuable components in the foam product [2]
The disadvantage of this method is the low recovery of copper in concentrate.
The purpose of the invention to increase the degree of extraction of copper.
1:4:4. The essence of the method of flotation concentration of copper-bearing ores is that the ore is ground, the resulting pulp is conditioned with sodium sulfide, a collector and a foaming agent, after which separation is carried out with the release of valuable components into the foam product; during the conditioning process, sodium thiosulfate is additionally introduced, while the ratio of sodium sulfide, thiosulfate and sodium chloride is from 1: 1: 0.1 to 1: 4: 4.
The method is as follows.
Ore ground to 70% grade 0.074 mm is subjected to conditioning for 2 minutes with a mixture of sodium sulfide, thiosulfate and sodium chloride in a ratio of 1: 1: 0.1 to 1: 4: 4, respectively, then flotation is carried out in the presence of a collector and a blowing agent.
The effectiveness of the use of these reagents is illustrated by the experimental data presented in the table.
The table shows that the best indicators of copper flotation are ensured by the combined use of sodium sulfide, thiosulfate and sodium chloride in the proposed ratio of costs.
Flotation experiments were conducted on ore of the Dzhezkazgan deposit containing, by weight.
The scum foam product is a copper concentrate.
П р и м е р 1.
PRI me
П р и м е р 3. PRI me
4,1-6,6% The implementation of the flotation process according to the proposed method allows in comparison with the prototype method to increase copper recovery by 4.1-6.6%
