Abstract
Description
The invention relates to ferrous metallurgy, in particular to sinter production.
Known methods of preparing sinter mix to a sintering comprising heating agloshihty before loading it on a sintering machine up to 60-70 ° C, in order to improve productivity by eliminating the sinter moistening zone [1]
These methods do not solve the problem of improving the quality of the upper layer of the sinter cake. The use for ignition of sinter charge by gaseous gases generated during combustion in incendiary furnaces of gaseous, liquid or pulverized coal fuels leads to the formation of sulfur and nitrogen oxides during the combustion of these fuels, which are released into the atmosphere and damage the environment.
Closest to the proposed is a method of preparing the sinter charge for sintering, in which before sintering the sinter charge is preheated and partially reduced with a reducing gas ionized in plasmatrons. This method allows to obtain a partially metallized agglomerate with increased strength and increases the performance of the sinter machine [2]
The disadvantage of this method is to increase the consumption of primary fuel for the production of sinter and environmental pollution by harmful oxides of sulfur and nitrogen generated during the combustion of fuel in an incendiary furnace.
The aim of the invention is to reduce fuel consumption for the production of sinter, improving the quality of sinter and reducing harmful emissions into the atmosphere with sintering gases.
2.The goal is achieved in that the preparation of the sinter charge for sintering, including its heating before sintering with gas ionized in plasmatrons, is carried out using neutral gas to produce ionized gas and controlling the temperature of the gas entering the heated sinter charge by mixing the ionized gas with cold neutral gas. Moreover, the ratio of the flow rates of the neutral gas supplied to the plasmatrons and for regulation is maintained within the range of 0.5-6.7, and the heating rate of the sinter charge is within the range of 1.0-2.5 MW / m 2 .
The use of ionized neutral gas, such as argon, for heating the sinter charge completely eliminates the formation of harmful oxides in the incendiary furnace. In addition, when heating the sinter charge, solid fuel located in the upper layer of the charge does not burn. Combustion of the fuel bed begins only after exiting the heating zone where through heated to 900-1000 C layer begins agloshihty sucked air. In this case, combustion occurs uniformly over the entire cross section of the layer, which increases the yield and quality of the upper layer of the sinter cake.
At the outlet of the plasmatron torch ionized gas has a temperature of 1500-3000 o C. The mixing of the cold gas in a ratio of 0,5-6,7 allows to maintain the gas temperature entering the bed agloshihty within 1000-1300 ° C, and adjust the temperature and the amount of coolant along the length of the heating zone of the sinter charge, preventing its melting.
The number and power of the plasma torches used to heat the sinter charge are selected in such a way as to maintain the intensity of heat supply to the layer in the range of 0.8-2.5 MW / m 2 . At a lower intensity, uneven heating of the layer is possible; an increase in the area of the heating zone is required. Exceeding the intensity of heat supply to the layer above 2.5 MW / m 2 causes an excessive consumption of electricity, overheating of the upper layer of the charge and its melting.
An analysis of the known technical solutions showed that among them there are no methods for preparing the sinter charge, in which neutral ionized gas mixed with cold is used to heat it. The choice of operating parameters for heating the sinter charge is confirmed experimentally.
П р и м е р. PRI me R. A series of sintering of an agglomeration charge consisting of 75% Olenegorsk concentrate, 20% sinter ore and 5% coke was carried out on a laboratory sinter bowl. The layer height in all experiments was 250 mm. When pelletizing the mixture, the concentrate with the addition of 1% lime was first pelletized, and then the remaining components of the mixture were added and mixed. Mixing and pelletizing of the sinter charge was carried out in a dish-shaped granulator.
After loading the pelletized sinter charge into the sinter bowl, it was heated using a jet plasmatron. Nitrogen was used as the plasma-forming gas. Nitrogen was also fed through 3 tubes into the plasma torch torch. The flow rate of nitrogen supplied to the plasmatron and torch was measured. The temperature of the gas mixture entering the sinter charge layer was determined by calculation. The sinter charge was heated with the exhauster running. After heating, the upper layer agloshihty to 1000 ° C (monitored via the thermocouple) plasma torch was turned off and the nitrogen supply was stopped. In the basic experiment, the conventional sinter charge was ignited using a gas burner. The results of the experiments are shown in the table. The strength of sinter was determined by the method of dropping.
