The utility model relates to the field of household items, in particular, to photo frames for photographs, paintings or other images.

State of the art

Known device (RU 197280 U1, publ.), Which is a photo frame, which consists of a plate with at least one place for photography and a decorative composition. An adhesive base with a protective film is applied to the plate. But in this device there is no frame as such, there are only markings for creating a frame.

Known, chosen as a prototype, a photo frame (RU 71230 U1, publ. 03/10/2008). The well-known photo frame refers to household items and can be used as an entertaining toy for children, into which a photograph or any other graphic image made on paper can be installed. The essence of the utility model: a photo frame containing a back plate with a support stand attached to its rear surface and a transparent plate placed on its front surface, a frame frame connected to the front surface of the back plate, a connecting means made of magnetic material and placed on the front surface of the frame of the frame, along its perimeter, a decorative coating located on the frame over the connecting means, a decorative element equipped with a connecting element made in the form of a magnet interacting with a connecting means placed on the frame frame through a decorative coating, while the connecting means is made in the form of spaced apart from each other other, at least two, connecting elements, and the decorative element is made in the form of a soft toy.

But this photo frame uses a different decorative coating, which leads to a significant thickness of the product.

The main task of the claimed utility model being solved is to simplify the design and manufacture due to the absence of many elements of the photo frame, to increase reliability due to the absence of moving elements, which can be useful during installation and transportation.

The essence of the invention lies in the fact that the frame is a layer of baked ink with a thickness of 0.2-5 mm, preferably 0.5-2 mm, this layer is fixed on a substrate of a transparent material, to which a photographic image can be attached in one way or another.

The technical result achieved by the solution consists in simplifying the design of the photo frame, as well as in reducing the thickness and weight of the photo frame for images, increasing the convenience and reliability during transportation and operation, and expanding the arsenal of technical means.

Implementation of the utility model

To eliminate the ambiguity between the terms "frame" as the product itself and "frame" as a part of the product, framing it around the perimeter, the applicant hereinafter refers to the product as a photo frame, and the framing part as a frame. In this case, the photo frame can contain, as an image applied to it or inserted into it, not only a photograph, but also a drawing, picture, text, etc.

The standard photo frame in FIG. 1 contains a frame 101, glass 102, a mat with a window 103, a decorated object 104, a back cardboard 105. An integral element of any photo frame is the frame 101 itself and the decorated object 104 (an image inside the frame and attached to the frame), glass 102 is used to protect the image, to which the frame 101 is attached, and the object to be decorated is, as a rule, attached to the glass 102 by means of special devices (with the help of the frame itself, with glue means, thanks to pressing with the back cardboard 105, etc.).

There are so-called "baguette-less" photo frames, which are simply a sheet of glass with an applied image, that is, in fact, these are not photo frames, but only sheets of glass with an image, these products do not contain a frame. The proposed product contains a frame, which, among other things, protects the glass from mechanical stress, increases the ease of use due to the presence of a frame for which it is convenient to hold a sheet of glass without the risk of dropping and leaving fingerprints.

In the proposed solution, the frame is applied to the glass and fixed on it due to adhesion, the thickness of the proposed frame ranges from 0.2 mm to 5 mm.

As is clear from FIG. 2, the photo frame is a base 202 of a sheet of transparent material coated with a coating 201, and at least one material of glass, acrylic, polystyrene, PET can be used as the transparent material. Coating 201 is an ink applied using UV baking technology. The thickness of the coating layer is 0.2 to 5 mm, preferably 0.5 to 2 mm. The production and simultaneous installation of a frame on a transparent base is carried out using one unit of UV printing equipment, which allows you to automate the process and simplify the process of producing a frame and photo frame.

The sheet of transparent material can be rectangular, oval, or more intricate. The sheet of transparent material can have any thickness from 2 to 10 mm or more, preferably 4 mm. Thus, in preferred embodiments, the thickness of the photo frame is reduced compared to other photo frames due primarily to the thinness of the coating 201 forming the frame. Even with a 5mm frame thickness, the overall thickness of the photo frame remains small compared to most prior art examples.

The coating can be a layer of ink of one or a plurality of colors, the coating can contain patterns or patterns. The coating can include a lacquer coating.

In one embodiment, for more secure attachment to the transparent material, a frame is also formed on the end surfaces of the transparent material. Moreover, in some embodiments, the end surfaces are made at least partially beveled (for example, to the middle of the end face the angle of the end to the front surface is about 70 degrees, and then - 90 degrees).

Further, depending on the embodiment, the image is applied to the front or back of the sheet.

If the image is applied to the back of a sheet, then it is protected with a film or sheet material, in particular, vinyl film.
