Abstract
Description
The invention relates to the oil and gas industry, in particular to the drilling of oil and gas wells, and in particular to the preparation and use of grouting compositions for isolating absorption and water manifestation zones, represented by porous and fissured rocks in the presence of formation water movement.
[1]. Known grouting solution based on Portland cement, further comprising calcium chloride, ammonium sulfate. The composition is sedimentation-resistant, has a water yield close to that of the drilling fluid, and prevents complications during cementing of wells associated with the formation of pumpable clots. But at the same time, the well-known cement slurry has a relatively low stability and strength of the resulting stone [1].
[2]. Cement-based grouting mortar is also known, additionally containing a mixture of calcium and aluminum sulfates. But this solution has a relatively short setting time, sometimes almost instant, which makes it difficult to work with the mixture, because may lead to sticking of the drilling tool at the time of drilling, as well as the formation of cement stone of small thickness [2].
To increase the contact adhesion of the grouting mortar and the gradual transition of the solution to a solid state, it was proposed to introduce calcium chloride into the grouting mortar (ed. St. 1314012), mixed with sodium chloride (ed. St. 1263814). But these grouting solutions cause the difficulty of their preparation, especially in the field, associated with the dosage of the components, and also have a relatively short setting time range and high cost due to the use of practically pure calcium and sodium salts.
[3]. Closest to the proposed cement slurry, including cement and additives: sodium chloride, calcium hydroxide and isol, which is a waste of asbestos-cement production, containing low-basic calcium hydrosilicates and other hydrated formations. Although this cement slurry meets the requirements for lightweight mortars, it nevertheless has a number of drawbacks: the pot life (mobility) of a mortar is determined by the rate of hydration of alite and belite (mineral components of cement). The latter depends on the concentration of free water in the composition. When the content of alkali metal salts in the form of chlorides, hydration is fast, because NaCl does not form crystalline hydrates and leads to crack formation, ie, this cement slurry has a relatively low strength of cement stone [3].
3.The aim of the invention is to regulate the setting time of the mortar, increasing the strength of cement stone. This is achieved by the fact that the cement-based grouting mortar, including additives from calcium and sodium salts, is used as additives for the production of soda ash distillation stage in the following ratio of components, wt.%: Cement 48-52 Soda production waste 12-18 Water Else
The waste from the production of soda ash has the following, almost constant composition: CaCl 2 62-72 NaCl 27-37 CaSO 4 0.6-0.9 Ca (OH) 2 0.1-0.4, which is formed at the stage of filtration and evaporation of the distillate which is dried to a residual moisture content of 2-5% and having a bulk density of 800 kg / m 3 .
The presence of CaCl 2 and NaCl in the proposed additive simplifies their dosage, as well as the preparation of cement slurry. In addition, the proposed additive provides uniform distribution over the volume of cement mortar during cement mixing in the field and uniform properties of the resulting stone, which increases the time range of the setting time and allows you to adjust this range.
400.Cement slurry is prepared as follows. Pre-dried in a tube or drum furnace to a residual moisture content of 2-5% soda ash waste (ACS), having a bulk density of 800 kg / m 3 , is mixed in the mixer with the calculated amount of cement for 10-19 minutes until a homogeneous mass is obtained. Next, this mass is shut with water. For the preparation of cement slurry, cement grade 400 is usually used.
3. In the table. Table 1 shows the qualitative and quantitative compositions of grouting mixtures, and their physicomechanical parameters are given in Table 2, the data on the inhibitory ability and interfacial tension are shown in Table 3.
Based on the data presented and the description of the technology for the preparation of cement slurry, it is seen that the proposed composition and method of its use can significantly simplify the process of preparing the solution. The composition of the solution allows you to use it for plugging wells with a wide range of indicators: temperature and composition of the bottom hole fluid, according to the conditions of work on plugging. The survivability of the mortar and the clearly defined and stable start time of setting and sufficient strength with 2-day hardening can speed up the tamping process, while at the same time reducing material consumption due to early setting. The waste composition of soda ash successfully combines a retarder and setting accelerator in the optimal proportion and contains calcium sulfate - a source of nucleation of cement stone crystals.
Based on the foregoing, one can reasonably assume that both the high efficiency of the proposed solution and the efficiency of well plugging with it and, consequently, the secured demand for this composition in the practice of oil and gas production.
