Abstract
Description
The invention relates to an abrasive tool, in particular to a flexible abrasive tool in the form of tapes of finite and infinite length, and can be used for processing plastic materials, as well as products with a complex surface.
The aim of the invention is to increase the cutting ability of the tool by increasing the resistance of the pile to creasing.
The drawing shows the proposed flexible tool.
2.A flexible abrasive tool contains a textile base 1 with a pile in the form of loops 2, fastened in a textile base, an abrasive coating is applied to the ends of the loops 3. At least 50% of the pile is monofilament, while the pile loops 4 of monofilaments have a lower height than the main loops 2 other fibers, and the density of the pile cover does not exceed 70 loops per 1 cm 2 .
The sizing of the base, the impregnation, the application of the bond and the abrasive affect the elasticity of the abrasive tool. In this case, the ligament has the most significant effect on the elasticity of the instrument in the direction of its decrease. The application of a binder and an abrasive to the pile surface of the base, namely to the loops forming the pile, provided that the loops are not glued to one another, allows a highly elastic tool to be obtained. In this case, the bond and abrasive do not affect the elasticity of the tool and it will be a dependent value only on the elasticity of the base. When working with a finished tool, crushing of the pile from the action of cutting force may be observed. Therefore, to give the pile stability, monofilaments are introduced into it, which have a higher stiffness with respect to other threads. Moreover, an increase in stiffness is observed if at least 50% of the pile is monofilament. In addition, it is advisable to use a pile of monofilaments of a lower height than a pile of threads on which a binder and abrasive are applied, since this prevents direct contact of the monofilaments with the surface being treated, and taking into account the fact that the structure of monofilaments does not allow sufficient adhesion to it various types of ligaments, the consumption of abrasive is reduced.
The use of loops in the tool with a high density of their placement (more than 70 loops per 1 cm 2 ) leads to bonding of the loops to one another and the formation of a continuous abrasive coating as a result, which leads to a decrease in elasticity, and when processing plastic materials with the tool, to its quick salting on the other hand. The use of loops with a low density of their placement in the tool leads to a decrease in the productivity of the grinding process, since the number of grains involved in the cutting process will be insignificant.
It should also be noted that the elasticity of the tool depends on the length along the perimeter of the loop of the abrasive coating. For example, when applying an abrasive coating to the entire loop, the elasticity of the tool is less than when partially applying it. The location of the abrasive coating over most of the length of the loop makes the tool similar to a tool with a multilayer abrasive coating, but it has significantly greater elasticity.
П р и м е р. PRI me R. A flexible abrasive tool is as follows. A knitted fabric is taken, the soil of which consists of polyester complex belan yarns (linear density 25 tex), and pile - from polyester complex belan yarns (linear density 25 XI) and nylon monofilaments (linear density 2.2 tex). A binder with an abrasive is applied to the canvas in the ratio, wt.h%: phenol-formaldehyde resin SFZh 3039 - 40%; styrene butadiene latex SCS - 65GP - 20%; abrasive (10 grit boron carbide) 40. Thereafter, in an oven produce preliminary heat treatment at 150 ° C for 10 min. Then, the formed abrasive coating is coated with SFG 3039 resin and the final heat treatment is carried out in the drying cabinet under the conditions as in the first case. The resulting abrasive tool is wound onto a drum.
The proposed abrasive tool process a batch of aluminum cops from plastic material AD33 having a curved profile. It was found that the resistance of the proposed flexible abrasive tool exceeds the resistance of the known (base) tool by 3-4 times. In addition, the high elasticity of the tool allows the simultaneous grinding of the entire surface of the cops, i.e. the proposed flexible abrasive tool due to its high elasticity and low tendency to salinity allows to expand the range of machined parts.
