Abstract
30%.1. The method of neutron-photon therapy for patients with breast cancer, including combined neutron-photon therapy, characterized in that the bolus is first placed on the irradiated mammary gland and the organ configuration is changed, which ensures the formation of an optimal radiation dose distribution in the tumor, while neutron irradiation is carried out in mode from 0.2 to 0.4 Gy, daily to SOD 2.0 Gy or 1.0 Gy for 3 sessions to SOD 3.0 Gy, and then gamma irradiation daily from 1.0 to 2.0 Gy to SOD 45-50 Gy. 2. A method according to claim 1, characterized in that the bolus is made of tissue-equivalent material in the form of transparent plates with the possibility of changing and fixing the distance between them. The method according to claim 1, characterized in that when planning treatment, the optimal contribution of the neutron component, taking into account RBE in the total course of combination therapy, is selected from 17 to 30%.
