Способ регулирования турбонаддува двигателя внутреннего сгорания за счет увеличения или уменьшения мощности передаваемой от турбины турбокомпрессора к компрессору изменением мощности механических потерь в подшипнике, включающий подвод масла от двигателя и отвод, отличающийся тем, что регулируемое гидроторможение вала ротора производится маслом, находящимся в замкнутой полости моновтулки под давлением, путем регулирования количества сливаемого масла из корпуса подшипника ротора турбокомпрессора поворотом золотника.
