Способ получения многослойного покрытия для режущего инструмента, включающий вакуумно-плазменное нанесение многослойного покрытия, отличающийся тем, что наносят нижний слой из нитрида хрома и верхний - из нитрида соединения титана, кремния и хрома при их соотношении, мас. %: титан 87,1-90,5, кремний 1,0-1,4, хром 8,5-11,5, а нанесение слоев покрытия осуществляют расположенными горизонтально в одной плоскости тремя катодами, первый из которых выполняют из сплава титана и кремния, второй - из хрома и располагают противоположно первому, а третий изготавливают составным из титана и хрома и располагают между ними, причем нижний слой наносят с использованием второго катода, а верхний слой - с использованием первого и третьего катодов.A method of obtaining a multilayer coating for a cutting tool, including vacuum-plasma deposition of a multilayer coating, characterized in that the lower layer of chromium nitride is applied and the upper layer is made of titanium, silicon and chromium nitride compounds in a ratio of wt. %: titanium 87.1-90.5, silicon 1.0-1.4, chromium 8.5-11.5, and coating layers are applied by three cathodes arranged horizontally in the same plane, the first of which is made of a titanium alloy and silicon, the second is made of chromium and placed opposite to the first, and the third is made composite of titanium and chromium and placed between them, with the lower layer being applied using the second cathode and the upper layer using the first and third cathodes.
