Способ определения электрических характеристик биологического объекта путем определения частотной характеристики электрического импеданса биологического объекта, включающий пропускание через биологический объект прямоугольного импульса тока и измерение электрических характеристик, отличающийся тем, что в качестве электрических характеристик измеряют зависимость нарастания напряжения на биологическом объекте от времени в течение пропускания прямоугольного импульса тока, имеющую вид переходной функции электрического импеданса исследуемого объекта, затем преобразуют полученную зависимость нарастания напряжения на биологическом объекте от времени в течение пропускания прямоугольного импульса тока путем преобразования Карсона в частотную характеристику электрического импеданса исследуемого биологического объекта.
