Abstract
A method for treating paresis and paralysis of the lower extremities by imparting movement to the extremities using a mechanical apparatus, with simultaneous functional programmable electrical stimulation of the muscles involved in the movement, characterized in that using the mechanical apparatus they perform flexion-extensor movements of the muscles, and electrical stimulation is carried out only for muscles located in the hypotone, using a pulsed electric current from 10 to 15 mA at a frequency of 65 Hz, and the duration of the electrical pulses is 1-5 ms, often there are 100 pulses per second, and the pulses are grouped into packets, each of which is 1-2 s in duration, a pause between pulses is 2 s, the electrodes are placed along the stimulated muscle, one of the electrodes is fixed on the motor point, and the second in the distal section the area of transition of the muscle into the tendon, while the course of treatment is 10-15 days 1 time per day for 30-40 minutes.
