Способ получения биомассы каротинсинтезирующих микроорганизмов путем внесения в культуру пероксида водорода, отличающийся тем, что культивирование микроорганизмов проводят при концентрации пероксида водорода в ферментационной среде 5,0-6,5 г/л, внесенного на 24-27 час культивирования, путем последовательных пересевов в количестве не менее 8-10 пассажей и с последующей выдержкой не менее 2 часов, причем в качестве каротинсинтезирующего микроорганизма используют дрожжи Rhodotorula glutinis Y-608.
