Способ получения компоста, включающий смешивание органических отходов с измельченным влагопоглощающим материалом, подачу полученной смеси в ферментер, ее аэробное компостирование, внесение инокулирующей добавки, отличающийся тем, что инокулирующую добавку вносят после выгрузки массы из ферментера на площадку, причем выгрузку производят сразу после начала спада максимальной температуры, а затем массу выдерживают в буртах в течение 30 дней, при этом инокулирующую добавку берут в количестве 2-7% от компостируемой массы.
