Abstract
Description
The invention relates to the removal of environmental pollution products, namely, accumulations of mercury and its compounds observed during the elimination of glass mercury-containing products: devices and lamps of different types.
A device for burial of used mercury-containing products is known, containing a loading part for the receipt of products, a destruction mechanism, a suction system of harmful substances in suspension, including a suction fan, a filter, a unit for removing mercury and its compounds, an outlet pipe connected by an air duct. The device also contains a container for collecting crushing products located in the lower part of the housing. Mercury-containing products are placed in the loading part and destroyed by the destruction mechanism. The crushing products fall into the container for their collection, and the released vapors of mercury and its compounds, as well as small particles formed during crushing and in suspension, are removed from the chamber, the air is cleaned of harmful substances and returned to the atmosphere, the disadvantage of the device is that the crushing products collected in a container and transported to a landfill leave a deposit of mercury and its compounds, as a result of which atmospheric precipitation and other factors cause harmful substances to enter the soil and water bodies, i.e. pollution environment and create conditions hazardous to human health.
This device coincides with the proposed for the largest number of essential features and is taken as a prototype.
The purpose of the invention is the creation of a device for the processing of used mercury-containing glass products, which allows to achieve the greatest degree of separation of mercury and compounds from them compared with known devices and is safe for staff.
The goal is achieved in that, as in the prototype, the device contains a sealed housing, a loading part for the receipt of products, a mechanism for their destruction, a suction system for substances in the charged state, including a suction fan, a unit for removing mercury and its compounds and an outlet pipe connected by an air duct , a container for collecting crushing products located in the lower part of the casing, but unlike the prototype, the device is equipped with a tank filled with a liquid that cleans mercury and its compounds. The tank enters the container for collecting the products of destruction and accommodates a centrifuge opened on top. Between the tank and the centrifuge there is a gap necessary for the free movement of the tank and the centrifuge relative to each other. The centrifuge operates in slow and fast rotation mode. It receives products from the destruction mechanism. The bottom of the centrifuge is liquid permeable. The centrifuge and its bottom are separable in the vertical direction so that a gap is formed between them.
The tank and the centrifuge are successively positioned relative to each other so that the centrifuge is first immersed in the washing liquid and operates in a slow rotation mode to mix the products of destruction and their cleaning, then it is separated from the washing liquid and operates in the fast rotation mode for drying, followed by separation of the tank in a centrifuge within the container for collecting the products of destruction and the formation of a gap between the centrifuge and its bottom for ejection under the action of centrifugal forces of the destruction products in the container for collecting them.
After destruction, the debris of the product falls into a centrifuge located in the tank with the washing liquid and filled through the permeable bottom of this liquid. The centrifuge rotates slowly in the liquid, mixing the debris, which contributes to their more efficient washing. Then the centrifuge is so placed in the tank that it is above the liquid layer. The centrifuge begins to rotate quickly, the products are dried, the liquid flows into the tank. Next, the centrifuge is lifted above the tank, but it still enters the container, the bottom of the centrifuge is separated, under the action of centrifugal forces with rapid rotation of the centrifuge, the debris washed and merged falls into the container to collect them.
The precipitate resulting from washing, containing mercury, is lowered to the bottom of the tank and periodically removed.
In FIG. 1 schematically shows a device, a general view; in FIG. 2, 3, 4 - the relative position of the parts of the device at the time of washing the destroyed products, drying, dumping of debris into the container, respectively.
A device for processing used mercury-containing glass products contains a sealed housing 1, a
As a substance filling the
The device operates as follows. Through the hatch 4 of the sealed housing 1, the
The fragments of
And then (see Fig. 4) the
