Abstract

Liquid degreasing composition comprises an aqueous solution of an inorganic acid containing an ethoxylated fatty alcohol emulsifier and an ethylene oxide/propylene oxide copolymer wetting agent. Independent claims are also included for: (1) A degreasing foam comprising a gas phase and a composition as above; (2) A degreasing gel comprising a composition as above and an inorganic viscosifier; (3) Processes for decontaminating and/or degreasing a surface, comprising contacting the surface with a composition, foam or gel as above to extract contaminants from the surface into the composition, foam or gel.

1.
