Abstract

A paint brush is proposed containing a handle, a metal shell made in the form of a rectangular plate, connected by its transverse edges to each other and fixed by the inner surface of its lower end on the corresponding section of the outer, lateral surface of the upper end of the handle, and a pile head located and secured by its non-working ends in the inner cavity of the upper end of the metal shell. The transverse edges of the rectangular plate are located in a joint relative to each other and are connected by their transverse edges to each other by means of a welding joint. The paint brush has a higher operational reliability. 2 ill.

Description

The proposed technical solution relates to the field of brush products and can be used to create paint brushes with higher operational reliability.

Similar technical solutions are known, see, for example, the description of the invention to the USSR inventor's certificate No. 1286153, which contains the following set of essential features:

- handle;

- a metal clip, made in the form of a shell, secured by the inner surface of one end (right), by compression, on the corresponding section of the upper end of the handle;

- a pile head made in the form of bunches of pile, located with their non-working ends in the inner cavity of the left end of the metal holder and fixed, by crimping their non-working ends, with the inner surface of the left end of the metal holder.

The general features of a paint brush proposed for patenting and the above described technical solution are:

- handle;

- a metal clip, fixed by the inner surface of one of its end (right) on the corresponding section of the upper end of the handle:

- a pile head located and fixed with its non-working ends in the inner cavity of the left end of the metal holder.

- flat handle;

- a metal shell, made in the form of a rectangular plate, with its bent transverse edges, "U" -shaped profile, engaging with each other and fixed by the inner surface of its lower end, by means of riveted joints, on the corresponding section of the outer, upper, lateral surfaces of the upper end of the flat handle;

- a pile head located and fixed with its non-working ends in the inner cavity of the upper end of the metal shell.

The general features of the technical solution and prototype proposed for patenting are:

- flat handle;

- a metal shell made in the form of a rectangular plate, connected by its transverse edges to each other and fixed by the inner surface of its lower end, by means of riveted joints, on the corresponding section of the outer, lateral surface of the upper end of the flat handle;

- a pile head located and fixed with its non-working ends, for example, by means of an adhesive connection in the inner cavity of the upper end of the metal shell.

The technical result, which cannot be achieved by any of the above described similar technical solutions, is to increase the operational reliability.

The reason for the impossibility of achieving the above technical result is that the connection of the transverse edges of the rectangular plate engaging with each other, with its curved transverse edges of the "U" -shaped profile, during long-term operation, leads to the separation of the transverse edges of the rectangular plate and to breakage of the paint brush.

Taking into account the characteristics and analysis of known similar technical solutions, it can be concluded that the task of creating paint brushes with higher operational reliability is relevant today.

The technical result indicated above is achieved in that a paint brush containing a handle, a metal shell made in the form of a rectangular plate, connected by its transverse edges to each other and fixed by the inner surface of its lower end on the corresponding section of the outer, lateral surface of the upper end of the handle and a pile head located and fixed with its non-working ends in the inner cavity of the upper end of the metal shell, while the transverse edges of the rectangular plate are located at the joint relative to each other and are connected by their transverse edges to each other by means of a welding connection.

The location of the transverse edges of the rectangular plate in a joint with respect to each other and connected by their transverse edges to each other by means of a welding connection, allow replacing the connection of the transverse edges of the rectangular plate engaging with each other with their bent transverse edges of the "U" -shaped profile, leading to the process of long-term operation to the disconnection of the transverse edges of the rectangular plate and to the breakdown of the paint brush to the joint located in the joint relative to each other of the transverse edges of the rectangular plate and to the joints of the transverse edges of the rectangular plate by means of a welding joint, thereby excluding, in the course of long-term operation breakage of the interconnected transverse edges of the rectangular plate and thus ensure a higher operational reliability. What is the achievement of the above technical result.

The proposed paint brush is illustrated by the following description and drawings, where FIG. 1 shows the design of a paint brush (view from the rear surface) and FIG. 2 shows the design of a paint brush (side view), which contains the following set of essential features:

- handle - 1;

- pile head - 2, fixed with its non-working ends on the upper end surface of the handle - 1 by means of, for example, an adhesive connection;

- a metal clip - 3, made in the form of a rectangular plate, located with its transverse edges in a joint with respect to each other and connected by its transverse edges to each other by means of a welding joint - 4, fixed by the inner surface of its lower end by means of fixed joints

- 5, 6 on the corresponding section of the outer, lateral surface of the upper end of the handle - 1, covering and tightly pressing against each other the lower ends of the pile head - 2.

The technology for making a paint brush is as follows:

- in the recess made on the upper end surface of the previously made handle - 1, a layer of glue is applied into which the non-working ends of the pile head elements - 2 are installed;

- cut a rectangular metal plate from flexible, thin, iron sheets corresponding to the size of the metal holder - 3 for a paint brush;

- place a flexible rectangular metal plate on the upper lateral surface of the handle - 1 and at the working ends of the pile head - 2, tightly pressing the lower non-working ends of the pile head against each other;

- placing the transverse edges of the rectangular plate in the joint relative to each other, by means of riveted joints - 5, 6, the corresponding lower longitudinal edges of the rectangular plate are fixed on the corresponding sections of the upper, lateral surface of the handle - 1;

- perform spot electric welding - 4, in the joint with the installed transverse edges of the rectangular plate and thus get a paint brush ready for further use.

The proposed paint brush is operated as follows.

Using the handle - 1 immerse the pile head - 2 into a container with paint and fill the pile head - 2 with paint.

After that, pressing the pile head - 2 to the surface to be painted, make corresponding movements of the pile head - 2 relative to the surface to be painted, and thus ensuring the application of the coloring matter on the surface to be painted.

Thus, due to the location of the transverse edges of the rectangular plate in the joint, relative to each other, and performing spot electric welding, in the joint of the installed transverse edges relative to each other, it is excluded during long-term operation the separation of the transverse edges of the rectangular plate engaging with each other, which in turn leads to longer operational reliability.

A paint brush containing a handle, a metal shell made in the form of a rectangular plate, connected by its transverse edges to each other and fixed by the inner surface of its lower end on the corresponding section of the outer lateral surface of the upper end of the handle, and a pile head located and fixed with its non-working ends in the inner cavities of the upper end of the metal shell, characterized in that the transverse edges of the rectangular plate are located in a joint relative to each other and are connected by their transverse edges to each other by means of a welding joint.
