Способ подъема жидкости из скважины, включающий вытеснение ее из цилиндра глубинного насоса при помощи плунжера, выполняющего возвратно-поступательные движения в цилиндре под воздействием энергии силового насоса, установленного на устье скважины, отличающийся тем, что плунжер выполняют из тяжелой жидкости, причем поступательные движения плунжера осуществляют при помощи легкой жидкости, периодически нагнетаемой силовым насосом в затрубное пространство, а возвратное движение плунжера осуществляют за счет разности плотностей тяжелой и легкой жидкостей и давления на приеме глубинного насоса.1.
