Способ получения моноэтиленгликоля волоконной чистоты реакцией гидратации окиси этилена при высокий температуре и давлении с последующим многоступенчатым упариванием реакционной массы и рециклом упаренной воды на стадию приготовления реакционной шихты, осушкой полученного гликоля-сырца и выделением целевого продукта вакуумной ректификацией, отличающийся тем, что реакцию гидратации проводят с использованием рецикловой воды, содержащей 0,00005-0,001 мас. % ацетальдегида при температуре 150-190oС.1.
