Способ оценки склонности каменного угля к самовозгоранию, включающий анализ влагосодержания отобранных проб угля, отличающийся тем, что определяют содержание влаги в мезопорах и микропорах, а для оценки склонности к самовозгоранию используют математическую формулу

Wмикро - содержание влаги в микропорах, %;
X - показатель склонности угля к самовозгоранию,
причем при значениях X от 0,1 до 2,0 уголь относят к опасному по склонности к самовозгоранию, при значениях X от 2,0 до 2,5 - к малоопасному, а при X более 2,5 - к неопасному.
