Description
The utility model relates to rocket engines using liquid fuel, namely, to the design of the nozzle of the chamber of a liquid rocket engine.
The utility model is intended to reduce the heat load on the nozzle of the chamber of a liquid rocket engine, as well as to reduce the mass of the nozzle of a liquid rocket engine.
During operation of a liquid rocket engine (LRE), heated gases move through the nozzle of the combustion chamber and the nozzle at a very high speed. In this regard, large mass flow rates are characteristic for LRE. Which in turn causes an increase in the coefficient of convective heat transfer from the combustion products to the walls of the nozzle of the engine chamber. At the same time, high combustion temperatures of the fuel in the LRE cause large heat fluxes from heat transfer by radiation.
Known nozzle of a rocket engine (analogue) according to patent RU No. 2274762, publ. 04/20/2006, which has the shape of a body of revolution with a longitudinal axis and a cross-sectional diameter varying along the axis and has a wall with many adjacent cooling channels that extend substantially parallel to each other from the inlet end of the nozzle to its outlet end. In the manufacture of such a nozzle, a plurality of pre-processed profiles are used, each of which has a wall and flange walls located on different sides. Each profile is milled, gradually decreasing its width in the longitudinal direction. The processed profiles are bent according to the shape of the corresponding section of the nozzle wall and their shelves are welded together, resulting in a bell-shaped nozzle with cooling channels formed by the walls and shelves of each pair of adjacent profiles.
However, the design does not have a constant speed of the cooling working fluid, it provokes an uneven distribution of temperature fields on the nozzle surface, high metal consumption and low manufacturability of the structure due to the need to fasten a large number of individual segments.
The closest technical solution for a similar purpose is
07.11.08]. Внутренняя оболочка сопла камеры жидкостного ракетного двигателя оживальной формы с выфрезерованными каналами охлаждающего тракта по наружной стороне, имеющая постоянную толщину огневой стенки, имеет толщину, уменьшающуюся в сторону большего диаметра так, что суммарная площадь каналов охлаждающего тракта в любом сечении является величиной постоянной. the design of the chamber of a liquid rocket engine [Patent RU No. 2325545, publ. 11/7/08]. The inner shell of the nozzle of a chamber of a liquid-propellant liquid-propellant engine of a lively shape with milled cooling ducts on the outside, having a constant thickness of the fire wall, has a thickness decreasing towards a larger diameter so that the total area of the channels of the cooling tract in any section is constant.
However, the design has a low range of control of heat removal from the nozzle walls, provokes an uneven distribution of temperature fields on the nozzle surface, in addition, due to the high metal intensity of the intermediate ribs, the mass of the nozzle increases significantly.
The technical result of the utility model is the expansion of the possibilities of controlling heat removal from the nozzle walls, the formation of a more uniform distribution of temperature fields on the nozzle surface and a decrease in the mass of the nozzle.
The technical result is achieved by using the fact that in the inner shell of the nozzle of the chamber of a liquid-propellant jet engine with milled rectangular channels of the cooling duct on the outside, having a constant thickness “a” and decreasing thickness “b” of the nozzle shell towards a larger diameter, to maintain a constant total area channels of the cooling path in any section, the channels of the cooling path are made in a spiral along the surface of the nozzle of the chamber of a liquid engine.

In FIG. 2 shows a sectional view of the inner shell of a nozzle of a chamber of a liquid propellant rocket engine.
The channels of the cooling path are made in a spiral along the surface of the nozzle of the chamber of the liquid-propellant jet engine and are a set of parallel channels made in a spiral along the surface of the nozzle of the chamber of the liquid-propellant jet with a winding step that allows maximal number of channels to be placed on the surface of the nozzle, which allows reducing the speed of movement of the cooling body , thereby providing intensive cooling of the jet engine nozzle.
Consider a specific example of a nozzle chamber of a liquid propellant rocket engine.
On the shell of the nozzle of the chamber of a liquid-propellant jet engine with milled rectangular channels of the cooling tract on the outside having a constant thickness of the fire wall and decreasing thickness of the shell of the nozzle towards a larger diameter, to maintain a constant total area of the channels of the cooling path in any section, and the channels of the cooling path are made spirals along the surface of the nozzle of the chamber of a liquid propellant rocket engine.
When the nozzle of the chamber of a liquid propellant engine, the combustion products of the fuel components move along the wall of the
Compared with the prototype and analogues, the proposed design is the most efficient cooling system for the nozzle of a liquid-propellant engine chamber, which allows providing the necessary heat transfer rate under different engine operating conditions. In this case, as the parameters determining the intensity of heat transfer in a particular section of the engine nozzle are the max number of windings and the winding pitch of the cooling path.
A decrease in the winding pitch of the cooling path leads to an increase in the intensity of heat removal from the nozzle walls in connection with an increase in the heat transfer surface area.
With a constant mass flow rate of the cooler and an increase in the number of parallel channels, the speed of movement of kerosene in them decreases, and this leads to a decrease in the heat transfer coefficient.
To increase the heat transfer intensity between the walls of the nozzle and the cooler, the winding steps of the cooling path channel should be changed, and for a finer adjustment of the heat transfer, a change in the number of parallel channels should be used.
