SHAVING SYSTEM

The utility model relates to household appliances and can be used in electric shavers used to shave the hairline of the skin.

A shaving system is known that comprises a body with round external knives installed in it and internal (rotating) knives in contact with them (Agidel, Berdsk, Filishev). Shaving is determined by the thickness of the outer knives in the area of contact with the inner knives; it cannot be significantly reduced (the minimum thickness is about 0.07 mm); as a result, the shaving quality is insufficient.

A cleaner shave is provided by a shaving system with an external mesh-type knife (mesh thickness - 0.04-fO, 05 mm), this system is adopted as a prototype (Science and Life, 1995, No. 9, p. 65-68). It contains a housing, an external (fixed) mesh-type knife rigidly fixed in it, an internal (movable) knife in contact with it in the form of a comb of cutting elements mounted with the possibility of reciprocating motion. In the process of shaving, the edges of the cutting elements cut off the part of the hair that has penetrated inward through the holes in the outer knife, and leave part of the hair on the skin, the height of which is determined by the thickness of the mesh.

The purpose of this technical solution is to improve the quality (purity) of shaving.

Hair cut off by the edges of the grooves is removed from the latter through holes made in the cutting elements.

The technical effect of the utility model consists in implementing the principle of double-shaving and thus improving the quality of shaving.
