The invention relates to gondolas for transporting people and goods by means of heat or gas balloons.
The purpose of the invention is to improve landing safety by significantly reducing or eliminating the drag of a balloon nacelle over the surface of the earth.
This is achieved in that in the aerostat nacelle device comprising a bottom and side walls, brake stops in the form of pins or plates are fixed in the upper part of the walls or the side surface of the bottom. In order to prevent injury to the crew when landing in the nacelle, the pins, the brake stops in the form of pins mounted on the wall are pivotally mounted and provided with stops, and the pins mounted on the bottom of the nacelle are placed in clips. Thus, the brake stops in the form of pins are retractable and are in the retracted position when the balloon starts. Before the nacelle lands, the brake pins extend or fold back into position. The brake stops in the form of plates are not removed and are always in the working position. When dragging a nacelle across the ground, the brake stops in the form of pins or plates, under the influence of the gravity of the gondola and the crew, cut into the ground and stop the nacelle or sharply slow down its speed . The working length of the brake stop is selected from the condition of providing the necessary braking force. The brake stops are located around the perimeter of the side surface of the bottom or walls of the nacelle so that when tilting the nacelle to any side brake stops they come into contact with the ground
In FIG. 1 shows a general view of a balloon with a gondola in the position of wind drift; figure 2 is a General view of the nacelle with brought into service position brake stops.

9.The nacelle contains the walls 1 and the bottom 2. On the walls or on the side surface of the bottom brake stops are fixed. On the frame 3 of the wall 1 of the nacelle, a tilt pin 5 is fixed with a finger 4; it has a stop 6 (Fig. 2). At the bottom 2 of the nacelle, a retractable pin 8 is fixed using the cage 7. Plates 9 are fixed along the edge of the bottom 2 of the nacelle.
Before landing during the wind, the aerostat crew prepares for landing, tilting or extending the brake stops, after which the crew is in a stable position in the nacelle. After the gondola lands, the aerostat winds sideways and rolls over to the side of the gondola. In this case, the brake stops cut into the ground, delaying the further movement of the nacelle ..
The use of brake stops in the design of the aerostat nacelle makes it possible to increase the safety of the crew and also reduces damage to the nacelle and the aerostat shell from dragging them over the surface of the earth and getting them on protruding objects.
