The invention relates to devices for measuring the oxygen content in gaseous media.
The aim of the invention is to increase reliability and improve the dynamic characteristics of an electrochemical oxygen sensor.
The electrochemical oxygen sensor contains a solid electrolyte in the form of a tube closed on one side, an external electrode, an internal electrode made of powder material, current conductors, and a gas supply tube. In this case, the gas supply tube is made in the form of a spring-loaded tube with a bottom having holes whose diameter does not exceed the particle size of the powder material of the inner electrode, the down conductor from the inner electrode is deposited on the surface of the gas supply tube, and the current outlet from the outer electrode is separated from a solid electrolyte with an insulation layer deposited on the surface of a solid-state tube.
The electrochemical sensor is shown in the drawing.
10.The sensor contains solid electrolyte 1, outer 2 and inner 3 electrodes, down conductors 4 and 5 from the outer and inner electrodes, a gas supply pipe 6 with a bottom 7, in which holes are made 8. Between solid electrolyte 1 and down conductor 4 from the outer the electrode has an insulation layer 9. A gas supply tube 6 with a bottom 7 presses the powder electrode 3 against the closed end of the solid electrolyte 2 with a spring 10.
The sensor operates as follows. The closed end of the tube is, for example, placed in a reference gas medium and heated to the operating temperature of the sensor. The analyzed gas is supplied to the inner electrode 3 through the channel of the gas supply tube 6, which, passing through the holes 8 in the bottom

7 of the gas supply tube, a powdery inner electrode 3 is washed and then exits the sensor through the annulus.
The increased reliability of the sensor is due to the fact that the bottom 7 of the gas supply tube more reliably keeps the powder filling of the internal electrode from spilling into the annulus than the putty, which is subject to mechanical stress,
The bottom 7 by means of a spring 10 constantly compacts the powder filling, which allows to reduce the internal resistance of the sensor.
The insulating layer 9 prevents the electrical connection of the external collector to the internal electrode through an electrolyte, which degrades the dynamic characteristics of the internal electrode and accordingly distorts the sensor. The presence of an insulating layer 9 improves the dynamic characteristics of the electrochemical sensor.
The particle size of the powder of which the inner electrode is made exceeds the size of the holes 8 for the passage of gas through
