The proposed utility model relates to a device for improving comfort on long trips, in particular, to support the head of a child sitting in a car seat, etc., to ensure a comfortable position during sleep in transport. The technical result is to simplify the design, as well as to ensure safety during traffic while ensuring comfort and ease of use. A device for improving travel comfort, holding the head of a seated person in an upright position and containing a belt fastened around the upper part of the back of the chair, includes a bandage for the forehead, made in the form of an inverted letter T, to which side straps are sewn to the sides, and the upper strap is fixed on top and the ends of all belts are attached to each other. In the first embodiment, the ends of all belts are fastened together by a fastener in the form of a triple carbine. In the second exemplary embodiment, the ends of the side belts are fastened together by a fastener in the form of a double carabiner, while the upper belt is attached to the side with a clamp. The proposed utility model relates to a device for improving comfort on long trips, in particular, to support the head of a child sitting in a car seat, etc., to ensure a comfortable position during sleep in transport.

Traveling by car, bus, train, plane, bike or boat, the child spends a lot of time sitting in a chair. During long trips, especially, but sometimes during short trips, it is advisable for the child to sit in a comfortable position, allowing him to sleep. If a sitting child falls asleep in an uncomfortable position, his head may fall sharply to one side or forward, which may cause him to wake up. In this case, the slightest collision of the car increases the likelihood of damage to the cervical vertebrae. But sitting all the time in the same position is also uncomfortable. It is advisable that you can turn your head, as well as move forward or backward on the seat.

The proposed device, which is easy to use, significantly improves the quality of travel on transport with a child - the whole family will forget about the stress during travel, and the children will be awake and rested upon arrival.

There are various technical solutions in this area.

So, the US patent for invention No. 4182322 is known (published. 08/01/1980). The patent describes a special headrest, which is used when transporting people injured in accidents. The headrest fixes the head from the sides and back, and in front special straps hold the forehead and chin.

Known US patent for the invention No. 4707031 (published. 17.11.1987). The seat belt is fixed around the back of the chair, and its length can be adjusted using a buckle. The neck of the head belt is sewn to the front of the seat belt. The length of the head belt can be adjusted using fasteners, such as Velcro. To further limit the movement of the head to the sides, the head restraint contains neck straps attached on both sides from the head to the frontal part of the head belt and to the front of the seat belt.

A disadvantage of the known device is that the head is practically fixed in one position, which over time begins to cause inconvenience, since it is desirable for a sleeping person to change the position of the body, for example, turn from one side to the other. Naturally, the head can also move. Another drawback is that when the sleeping person slowly slides forward along the seat cushion, the head belt attached with the neck to the seat belt will slide up the back of the head and slide off the head so that it no longer holds its head.

Known CN application for utility model No. 201932113 (published. 08/17/2011). The seat belt for fixing the head of a sleeping person in a sitting position during the trip fixes the forehead and is attached to the back of the seat.

A device for increasing comfort on trips (see RU patent for invention No. 2532148, IPC А47С 7/38, published. 10.27.2014), which is the closest in combination of essential features to the proposed utility model, and is selected as a prototype. The headrest for relaxing the muscles of the neck and throat of a seated person comprises a head belt for placement around the person’s head, a seat belt for attachment to a part of the back of the chair, and a neck strap connecting the frontal part of the head belt to the seat belt. The head belt is mounted with the possibility of displacement in the longitudinal direction of the neck strap.

A common drawback of all known solutions is the complexity of the designs.

The purpose of the utility model is to eliminate the disadvantages of the known devices.

Thus, the technical problem that currently exists is the complexity of the known designs; moreover, not a single analogue is known that is aimed directly at the children's audience. The creation of the proposed technical solution is aimed at solving this technical problem, namely, at creating a simplified device design to increase the comfort of children traveling.

The technical result is to simplify the design, as well as to ensure safety during traffic, while ensuring comfort and ease of use.

The technical result is achieved by the fact that the device for improving travel comfort, holding the head of a seated person in an upright position and containing a belt fastened around the upper part of the back of the chair, according to the utility model, includes a bandage for the forehead, made in the form of an inverted letter T, to which side straps are sewn on the sides, and the upper strap is fixed on top, and the ends of all the straps are attached to each other. In the first embodiment, the ends of all belts are fastened together by a fastener in the form of a triple carbine. In the second exemplary embodiment, the ends of the side belts are fastened together by a fastener in the form of a double carabiner, while the upper belt is attached to the side with a clamp. In the second embodiment, the ends of the side 2 belts are fastened together by a fastener in the form of a double carabiner, while the top 3 belt is attached to the side 2 using a clamp 5. Side 2 and top 3 belts can be made of tensile material. The upper belt 3 can be attached to the forehead bandage 1 using Velcro fasteners 6.

The proposed device provides the possibility of partial movement of the child’s head within a fixed state.

A device for improving travel comfort is a certified novelty in the Russian market from a Russian manufacturer (ISO 9001-2011 certificate). At the slightest collision of a car, the device softens the blow and minimizes the likelihood of damage to the cervical vertebrae, as it reliably fixes the position of the head of a child or adult.
