When a light signal is applied to photodiodes 12 (VD1) and 7 (VD6), the transistor pn-p or the transistor npn will open, namely: for the first position of the magnetic field vector of the motor stator, transistors 2 (VT1) and 7 (VT6) open , current flows through the stator winding 18 (La) in the forward direction; for the second position of the vector, transistors 2 (VT1) and 8 (VT2) open, and the transistor 7 (VT6) closes, the current flows through the stator winding 18 (La) in the forward direction and through the stator winding 19 (Lb) in the opposite direction; for the third position of the vector, transistors 3 (VT3) and 8 (VT2) open, and transistor 2 (VT1) closes, the current flows through the stator winding 19 (Lb); for the fourth position of the vector, transistors 3 (VT3) and 6 (VT4) and 8 (VT2) open, the current flows through the stator windings 18 (La) and 19 (Lб) in the opposite direction; for the fifth position of the vector, transistors 3 (VT3) and 6 (VT4) open, and the transistor 8 (VT2) closes, the current flows through the stator winding 18 (La) in the opposite direction; for the sixth position of the vector, transistors 4 (VT5) and 6 (VT4) open, and transistor 3 (VT3) closes, current flows through the stator winding 18 (La) in the opposite direction and through the stator winding 19 (Lb) in the forward direction; for the seventh position of the vector, transistors 4 (VT5) and 7 (VT6) open, and transistor 6 (VT4) closes, current flows through the stator windings 19 (Lb) in the forward direction; for the eighth position of the vector, transistors 2 (VT1), 8 (VT2) and 7 (VT6) open, the current flows through the stator winding 18 (La) in the forward direction and through the stator winding 19 (Lb) in the forward direction; for the ninth position of the vector, as well as in the first position, the transistors 2 (VT1) and 7 (VT6) open, and the transistor 4 (VT5) closes, then there is a repetition for the subsequent positions of the vectors.
1-2-3-4-5-6-7-8-1.To change the frequency of the alternating voltage in a wide range, you should change the clock frequency of the transistors in cycles 1-2-3-4-5-6-7-8-1.
1-8-7-6-5-4-3-2-1.To reverse, it is required to open the transistors in the reverse order, providing the position of the vectors in clock cycles 1-8-7-6-5-4-3-2-1.
Thus, the use of the presented transistor reversible frequency converter for a two-phase motor can reduce power consumption without the use of additional isolated power sources, since transistors are powered from a common DC voltage source through photodiodes that do not require additional isolated power sources for the operation of the transistor control system.
