The utility model relates to the field of medicine and medical equipment and is aimed at creating an easy-to-use, convenient to use device that provides vacuum-free wound drainage safe for the patient, with the exception of bleeding in newly formed wounds. This is achieved by the fact that the device consists of a covering material, a porous lining, a container for collecting wounds and a vacuum source, connected by a vacuum wire through the port, while the lining has a corrugated surface in its lower part, allowing it to change its configuration for a specific wound defect . The utility model can be used in surgical practice for vacuum drainage of wounds in general and maxillofacial surgery, urology, traumatology and other branches of medicine.
Description
The utility model relates to the field of medicine and medical technology, namely to devices designed for vacuum drainage of wounds using alternating negative pressure.
The purpose of the utility model is to ensure that the patient is safe for conducting vacuum drainage of wounds, as well as to reduce the risk of complications - the occurrence of bleeding in newly formed wounds.
As you know, one of the most serious postoperative complications is suppuration of the wound, the development of which significantly aggravates the course of the underlying disease, lengthens the patient’s hospital stay, increases the cost of treatment, often causes deaths and negatively affects the recovery time of the operated patients.
Today, for the treatment of both acute and chronic wounds, the local use of vacuum dressings is used, which improves the course of all stages of the wound process. However, their use in newly formed wounds can cause bleeding. This can be explained by the fact that the polyvinyl sponge is made of standard thickness, the same for all configurations of purulent wounds, not modeled for the individual dimensions of the wound, due to which free space remains between the bottom and the walls of the wound when applying the dressing. When creating a discharge, it is the wound tissues located in this space that are not protected by anything and therefore are injured by vacuum, which is the cause of bleeding.
At the moment, various medical devices manufactured by the medical industry are used for vacuum therapy.
So, the device is known [SU No. 587941, M. cl. - 2: A61M 01/00, publ. 01/15/1978] for the treatment of infected wounds and cavities, containing a handle, a vacuum regulator and a tip with a channel for connection to a vacuum line, while it is equipped with a bactericidal solution container located in the handle and a magnetostrictive transducer associated with the tip and placed in a container for a bactericidal solution. This known device allows to achieve complete cleansing of the wound with the least trauma. However, the known method is not effective enough, especially in the treatment of ischemic limb, as it does not prevent a possible deterioration of microcirculation in the wound.
Известно устройство [SU №1044288, М. 30.09.1983 г.] A device is known [SU No. 1044288, M. cl .: A61M 1/00, publ. 09/30/1983] for vacuum drainage of wounds containing a drainage tube, a collection can, an exhaust pipe and a vacuum mechanism, which is made in the form of two containers placed one on top of the other, the outer container is rigid and connected by an exhaust pipe to the collection can and the inner container is made elastic with the possibility of expansion and contraction and communicates with the atmosphere. The disadvantage of the known system is the inability to ensure full aspiration from the entire surface of the wound. In the wound, zones that are not accessible for aspiration are possible, which undoubtedly lengthens the course of the wound process. In addition, an adequate vacuum aspiration of an open wound is extremely difficult due to the constant suction of atmospheric air into the drainage system, which also reduces the effectiveness of the treatment.
Also known installation for vacuum therapy "VAC-therapy" company "KCI" (Denmark). This installation consists of a fine-meshed porous material - a polyvinyl sponge, with a pore size of 200 microns, a drainage system for wound detachable, an insulating sterile adhesive film “DIRAPLAST” and an individual source of vacuum, designed for a certain number of hours of operation (http: //www.etrs. org / bulletin 12_1 / section5.php). The known design allows you to use two modes of operation: continuous (continuous) and non-continuous (intermittent (5 minutes, work 2 minutes break). A disadvantage of the known system for vacuum therapy of purulent wounds is that it has a limited service life, since an individual source of vacuum is designed for a certain number of hours of work, regardless of whether the patient needs further treatment or not.
A common disadvantage of these devices is that they are not recommended for use with newly formed wounds, because at the same time, there is a great risk of bleeding due to the limited ability of the porous material (sponge) to change its configuration for a specific wound defect.
The purpose of the technical solution is to create an easy-to-use, easy-to-use device that provides a patient-safe holding of vacuum drainage of wounds with the exception of bleeding in newly formed wounds.
The technical result of the goal is achieved in that the device consists of a coating material 1 that covers the vicinity of the wound and a
In fig. 1 shows the location of the porous lining in the wound and its connection with the main parts of the device.
In fig. 2 shows a porous pad before use.
The utility model is used as follows. To carry out vacuum drainage, a
The positive effect of the claimed technical solution consists not only in ease of use, but also in the most safe way for the patient to conduct vacuum drainage of wounds with the exception of bleeding in newly formed wounds.
