The utility model relates to assistive devices for protecting the windshields of a passenger car from harmful environmental influences.

A technical solution is known which provides for the use of a composition that lowers the freezing point of water for washing and icing the windshields of vehicles (US Pat. No. 5,932,529, Storey).

However, the disadvantages of this technical solution include the fact that the composition used is combustible, and the functionality of the composition is limited, not providing protection from dust, dirt, bird droppings and other adverse external factors.

Widely used awnings and capes for cars are known, which protect against any pollution and adverse environmental influences (www.avto-podarok.ru/catalog/category:152/. However, they are quite bulky and require a lot of time to install and remove from the car.

A mini-cover is known for protecting the windows of a passenger car, including a car seat cover made of waterproof fabric with a system of fastenings to the car door handles, to the hood or to the radiator grille and the car trunk using hooks on rubberized straps of adjustable length (RU 151107 U1, B60J 11 / 00, published March 20, 2015, Bulletin No. 8). The disadvantages of this mini-cover are the complexity of the design and the long installation time on the car and removal from the car.

The specified protective mini-cover is technically the closest to the proposed utility model and adopted as a prototype.

The utility model was tasked with simplifying the design of a mini-cover, which could be easily installed and, if necessary, quickly removed from the windows of a passenger car.

The technical result of the utility model is to simplify the design, reduce the complexity of manufacturing, ease of use, reduce the time and labor required to install and remove the mini-cover from a passenger car.

The technical result is achieved due to the fact that in the mini-cover for protecting the windshield and side windows of a passenger car (hereinafter referred to as the mini-cover), including a car wrap made of waterproof fabric with a fastening system, the fastening system contains peripherally arranged capes made with two pockets for protection of rear-view mirrors; fastening elements in the form of magnets.

The cape is made of two or more layers of waterproof fabric, inside of which magnets are placed for attaching to the metal parts of the car. To reduce the cost of a mini-cover, magnets can be installed from the outside, not touching the glass, of the side of the cape. It is undesirable to place magnets on the inside of the cape because of the risk of damage to metal parts and the windshield and front side windows of a passenger car.

Since the mini-case has a certain mass and is attracted to the ground by the force of gravity, the magnets located in the upper part of the cape, compared to the magnets located in its lower part, experience large vertical loads. With this in mind, they are performed with stronger magnetic properties, which make it possible to hold the cloak on the glass before the magnets in its lower part are mounted on the glass.

Mini-case is used as follows.

A mini-cover is used to protect the windshields of the car when it is stored in adverse environmental conditions, when the car is exposed to adverse external factors. Before installing on the windshield and side windows of the car, the cape 1 is straightened, after which its central part is attached with the magnets 4 to the metal parts of the car with the top end so that the entire surface of the windshield and side windows evenly closes. Then, on each rear-view mirror, put the corresponding pocket on the cape and magnets fasten the lower part of the cape on the windshield (front) and side windows of the car. Remove the mini-case in the reverse order.

The mini-cover protects the most important part of the car, from the point of view of traffic safety, namely its windshield (windshield) and side windows, from icing, pollution in the form of snow, hail, dust, dirt, bird droppings, foliage and tree buds. Provides reduced heat transfer to the environment and protects the windshield from sticking snow and the formation of an ice crust during parking. There is no air movement under the mini-case that fits snugly against the glass, which helps lower the temperature of the glass and cause frost on it. The absence of ice reduces the time required to prepare the car for movement, since when starting the engine it is not necessary to remove the ice crust from the windshield and side windows (with a scraper, heating, auto chemistry). In addition, the mini-case extends the life of the windshield and side windows.

The proposed technical solution is novel, industrially applicable.
