Description
This utility model relates to the field of electrical engineering used in medicine and can be used to transmit electrical signals taken from the body of a biological object (human or animal) to a recording device.
Known conductor ECG system [US 6891379 B2, "EKG WIRING SYSTEM", G01R 27/04, publ. May 10, 2005], in essence, a device for transmitting biophysiological signals, such as an electrocardiological signal, consisting of a cable and a connector for connecting to a recording device. The cable contains a sheath, inside of which are many coaxial conductors that are electrically connected to the connector. On the outer side of the shell at a distance from each other there are many contacts made with the possibility of placing on the surface of the body of a biological object. The contacts on the body are placed by connecting with electrodes that are attached directly to the skin. Each contact is electrically connected to a corresponding conductor.
This known device is selected as a prototype, as it has the largest number of essential features that match the essential features of the claimed utility model. However, this prototype has a significant drawback, namely, low reliability due to the fact that electrical signals passing through coaxial conductors are susceptible to external interference. Sources of interference can be located both outside the cable and inside it. Examples of external sources of interference: static electrical discharges occurring in synthetic human underwear; household electrical appliances; medical equipment, especially electrosurgical equipment, etc. Internal sources of interference - mutual influence of currents of adjacent conductors; tribostatic interference arising from cable bends due to friction of the insulation of adjacent conductors. Since the level of biophysiological signals, such as an ECG, mainly lies in the range of ± 10 mV, external interference can be comparable with the signal and even exceed it several times. Interference distorts useful information and may make it wrong or impossible to isolate diagnostically significant signs. Internal interference is usually smaller, however, their removal is required in cases where there are special requirements for obtaining a high-quality clean signal.
The objective of this utility model is to create a new device for transmitting biophysiological signal channels with the following technical result: increasing reliability by reducing the level of interference in the transmitted signal.
The problem is solved due to the fact that in the known device for transmitting biophysiological signals containing a cable and a plurality of contacts connected to it, the cable includes a sheath, inside which there are many conductors, and on its outer side there are many contacts made with the possibility of placing a biological object on the surface of the body, each contact is electrically connected to the corresponding conductor, according to this utility model, a common a tap placed between the sheath and the conductors.
There are options for the development of the main technical solution, which consists in the fact that:
- каждый проводник помещен в индивидуальный экран;- each conductor is placed in an individual screen;
- индивидуальные экраны выполнены из полупроводникового материала;- individual screens are made of semiconductor material;
- введены элементы защиты от перенапряжения, каждый из которых электрически расположен между соответствующим проводником и общим экраном;- overvoltage protection elements have been introduced, each of which is electrically located between the corresponding conductor and the common screen;
- введены элементы защиты от перенапряжения, каждый из которых электрически расположен между соответствующим проводником и его индивидуальным экраном.- overvoltage protection elements have been introduced, each of which is electrically located between the corresponding conductor and its individual screen.
Thus, using the totality of the claimed features, it is possible to increase the reliability of the device for transmitting biophysiological signals by introducing a common screen that provides protection from interference transmitted through coaxial conductors of electrical signals.
The essence of the claimed utility model and the possibility of its practical implementation is illustrated by the description and drawings below.

The device (Fig. 1-5) for transmitting biophysiological signals comprises a
A device for transmitting biophysiological signals can be connected to a recording device (not shown in the drawing) via
In this case, the sections of
In the case where the sections of the
In the case where the sections of the
In the case where the sections of the
Example. When moving, the human body changes its geometric dimensions. For example, when inhaling, the volume of the chest increases. On exhalation, it decreases. When performing various physical exercises, individual muscles become tense and, accordingly, thicken, while relaxing, they decrease in volume. Part of
Between the
Each conductor 4 can be placed in an individual shield 7 (Fig. 4). In this case, part or all of the
At the time of defibrillator discharge, different electrodes located at different points in the patient's body may have different potentials, which in the absence of protective elements creates an electric current through the cable conductors and through the recording device (recorder). And since the voltage and current strength of the defibrillator discharge are large, the discharge current can lead to the failure of the recording device. Therefore,
The inventive cable may contain at least one digital signal channel 9 (Fig. 4) connected to the
The inventive cable is used as follows.
Electrodes for biophysiological signals are placed on the patient’s body.
