Abstract

Description

The utility model relates to sanitary-hygienic equipment, used mainly indoors, and can be used for domestic keeping of animals, in particular cats.

A number of toilets for pets are known (see, for example, RF patent No. 22401, dated April 10, 2002), containing a box and a tray placed in it with sides and holes, inside of which it is necessary to fill up a filler sorbent.

A disadvantage of the known devices is the need for periodic replacement of the filler (when using it) and discharge of accumulated urine, which is accompanied by the appearance of an unpleasant odor. In addition, in this device, the use of filler leads, when it is refilled, to dusting and environmental pollution.

Closest to the claimed technical solution is a toilet for pets (see RF patent No. 10511, from 08.16.1999), containing a cavity with a floor sloping to a drain hole connected to a drain into the sewer, and equipped with a means for supplying water for flushing excrement placed on the upper edge of the cavity from its inner side and connected to a water source. In this case, the cavity is a tray, in which a trellised tray is embedded on top, the water supply means is made in the form of a tube passing along the perimeter of the upper edge of the tray and having a number of holes along its entire length, and a drain hole is located in the bottom of the tray at its side.

The disadvantage of this device is the insufficiently effective cleaning of the body cavity (tray) from animal excrement, as well as low automation, the animal owner has to manually flush.

The technical result consists in obtaining a reusable toilet that is technologically advanced in production, convenient and easy to use, with maximum automatic cleaning of the body cavity (tray).

The technical result is achieved due to the fact that the toilet for pets contains: a hollow body, including a recess with a floor (essentially a tray), the floor has a slope to the drain hole, a siphon with a water seal function, having a receiving part, at least one upper nozzle for flushing animal waste into the receiving part of the siphon. The toilet further comprises: at least one lower nozzle located in the receiving part of the siphon, which is made in the form of a round hole and provides a directed stream of water at an angle along the walls of the siphon, at least one solenoid valve for water supply (valves can be installed on each nozzle separately), with the possibility of supplying water from the supply pipe to the nozzles, an animal presence sensor in the toilet, a valve control unit and a power supply.

A reusable toilet for pets consists of: a housing (1) containing a recess with a floor (essentially a tray), the floor has a bias towards the drain hole of the siphon (2); siphon (2) with the function of a water trap made in the housing; the upper nozzle (3) to flush animal waste into the receiving part of the siphon (there may be several upper nozzles located around the perimeter of the body cavity (Fig. 2)); the lower nozzle (4) located in the receiving part of the siphon, which can be made, for example, in the form of a round hole and provides a directed stream of water at an angle along the walls of the siphon (lower nozzles can also be several located in a circle if the receiving part of the siphon drain is made narrowing conical), an animal presence sensor in the toilet, a water supply solenoid valve, with the possibility of supplying water from the supply pipe to the nozzles, the valve / nozzle control unit and the power supply (5).

The pet toilet device is made of a three-dimensional plastic frame, between the ribs of which are placed: high-pressure nozzles, a valve, an animal presence sensor in the toilet, a valve / nozzle control unit and a siphon with access to the sewer. On top of this entire construction, a sheath made of a special two-layer high-quality sanitary plastic is put on, the upper surface of which forms a tray and which, together with the frame and stiffeners, is a body (1).

A reusable toilet is used as follows.

The pet toilet is installed in the required place: bath, toilet, kitchen, etc. etc. and connected to the water supply network and sewage system. For power use either ordinary batteries or external power from 110 volts to 230 volts directly from the AC network. You can also connect 12 volts through a step-down transformer. This connection option is preferred since low voltage is safe to use. If external power is supplied and batteries are installed at the same time, then in the event of an emergency shutdown of the external power, the pet toilet will automatically switch to battery power, and when external power is restored, it will switch back to external power.

When the animal is inside the recess with the floor of the housing (1) of the pet toilet, the presence sensor of the animal in the toilet detects the presence of the animal, detects the moment the animal leaves the toilet, and transmits a signal to the nozzle control unit. After a short period of time (for example, 15 seconds) in case the animal has not returned to the toilet, the nozzle control unit sends a command to the nozzles (valve) and flushes. Due to the presence of the upper (3) and lower (4) nozzles, an effective flushing of animal waste into the receiving hole of the siphon (2) is performed. If the animal has returned to flushing, the nozzle control unit (valve) will wait for the animal to leave again and after 15 seconds will flush (flushing will not occur until the absence of the animal in the toilet exceeds the set threshold, for example, 15 seconds). This delay in flushing is necessary so that the animal is not afraid of the noise of water from flushing. After flushing, the device is immediately ready for reuse. If the device is not used for more than 3 days, it will automatically flush itself to update the water in the siphon's water trap to prevent the entry of unpleasant odors from the sewer.
