Description
The utility model relates to means of controlling noise along the path of its propagation by isolating it and can find application as soundproofing panels in building envelopes. Known soundproofing material containing a shell of non-woven material, and the inner layer is made of fibers of plant origin (RF patent for utility model No. 148232. Environmental soundproofing material). This material has drawbacks in terms of its flammability and insufficient degree of sound insulation.
A sound insulating structure with a honeycomb core is known, including external and internal cladding, between which a cellular honeycomb core is placed containing corrugated profiles interconnected by grooves (RF patent No. 2432259, Sound insulating structure). The invention improves the flexibility and reliability of the design while maintaining strength. The disadvantage of this design is the low degree of sound insulation.
The closest in technical solution and the achieved result is RF patent No. 2338844, Soundproof panel of the fan housing. It includes outer metal sheets, the inner surfaces of which are rigidly connected with elastic gaskets located on the periphery of the sheets. A sound-absorbing layer of breathable material is placed between the sheets. As sound passes through the sound insulation panel, sound is reflected and attenuated from the metal sheets and in the sound-absorbing, breathable layer of the material. All this leads to a decrease in sound pressure behind the soundproof panel. This panel for its manufacture requires many materials, metal sheets, gaskets made of elastic material, sound-absorbing breathable material, glue for connecting gaskets to sheets and fastening screws. The main disadvantage of this panel is the insufficiently high degree of sound insulation.
The technical task to be solved is to increase the degree of sound insulation in a soundproofing structure.
The technical problem to be solved in a soundproofing structure containing soundproofing breathable material is achieved by the fact that soundproofing breathable material is placed in a sealed enclosure and is filled with a gas or a mixture of gases having a speed of sound different from the speed of sound in air.
In FIG. 1 shows a general view of a sound insulating helium-filled structure.
In FIG. 2 is a general view of a sound insulating structure with a honeycomb core in the environment of sulfur hexafluoride.
The soundproofing structure comprises an
The speed of sound depends on the elasticity and density of the medium. It is taken as a criterion for assessing the environment along the path of sound propagation.
Table 1 shows the values of densities, velocities of sound waves in gaseous media and wave impedances, which determine the conditions of reflection and refraction of waves at the boundary of media.
Gases, such as nitrogen, hydrogen, helium, methane, xenon, krypton and others, which have a higher speed of sound than the speed of sound in air, shift the spectrum of sound to higher frequencies. Whereas gases such as carbon dioxide, sulfur hexafluoride, chlorine and others, which have a lower speed of sound than the speed of sound in air, shift the spectrum of sound to lower frequencies.
For ease of perception, we present known data on the change in a person’s voice when inhaling a light inert gas of helium, the voice changes and becomes higher. The timbre of the voice changes. Formants change their frequency. The speed of sound is related to the frequency f by the wavelength V = f · L. In helium, the speed of sound is 965 m / s, which leads to a change in the spectrum of sound, a shift to higher frequencies. Wave resistance R is 172.25 helium and air at 426.99 kg / s · m 2. The wave resistance of helium is 2.47 times less than that of air. A different picture is observed when sound waves propagate in gases at a lower speed, for example, in sulfur hexafluoride, where the velocity is 136 m / s and the wave impedance is 892.16 kg / s · m 2 , while in air it is 427.91 kg / s m 2 . Here, the wave resistance of air is 2.08 times less than that of sulfur hexafluoride. The propagation of sound waves in the environment of sulfur hexafluoride leads to a decrease in the frequency of sound waves in the region of lower frequencies and the voice becomes lower. The above is directly related to sound insulation. The use of gases or mixtures thereof, having a sound propagation velocity higher than that of air, shifts the frequency spectrum of sound waves to higher frequencies. The higher the frequency of sound vibrations, the more losses sound waves undergo in their path. This improves sound insulation many times over. In gases and their mixtures having a sound propagation velocity lower than that of air, a shift in the frequency spectrum of sound waves to a region of lower frequencies is observed. This allows you to translate low audible frequencies of sound into inaudible ones, for example, frequencies of 20-25 Hz into inaudible f <16 Hz.
To prove the above, experiments were conducted. An active speaker was hung in a transparent plastic container (bottle) with a diameter of 25 cm and a height of 35 cm in the center, to which sound vibrations from an electronic frequency generator in a computer were applied at a given frequency. The power of sound waves in decibels and frequency were measured by a sound level meter-vibrometer, an ECO-PHYSICS-110A spectrum analyzer, which was installed at a distance of 60 cm from the tank. At the time of measurement, the container with air and with helium was airtight.
2.The measurement results are presented in Table 2.
3).Analysis of the spectra of sound waves in helium showed an increase in the maximum frequencies (Table 3).
Thus, an increase in the speed of sound in a helium medium (965 m / s) leads to a decrease in the radiated power (Table 2) and a shift of frequencies to the region of their increase, which makes it possible to increase the efficiency of sound insulation. When sound propagates in gaseous media having a sound propagation speed lower than that of air (sulfur hexafluoride and others), it will lead to a decrease in the frequency of sound waves to lower frequencies, which allows audible sounds to be converted into inaudible ones. This ensures the effectiveness of noise control at especially low frequencies.
The manufacture of a soundproofing structure is as follows. A

Soundproof design has been tested and shown to be highly effective. The production of this design will increase the efficiency of sound insulation and find it widely used in building acoustics and mechanical engineering.
