Description
The utility model relates to the field of medical technology, namely to orthosis and rehabilitation rehabilitation equipment for patients who undergo a compression fracture of the spine above the level of the Th6 vertebra. Among vertebral column injuries in children, compression vertebral fractures occupy a special place.
Known corset used for compression fractures of the spine (patent No. 880422 semi-rigid corset) in the recovery period from 90 days from the moment of injury. A semi-rigid corset is a structure containing the pelvic and chest cuffs connected by an elastic connection, the cuffs are connected by a set of parallel tension springs, and rows of holes for fixing the ends of the springs are made on the pelvic and chest cuffs. This product helps the weakened muscles of the patient to maintain a predetermined position, but do not have sufficient rigidity and does not provide the necessary fixation of the damaged vertebra. However, the considered corset cannot be used in the early stages of treatment due to the instability of the damaged segment.
Known corset used for compression fractures of the spine (patent No. 136337 orthopedic hyperextension corset on the thoracic spine) is made with a side cut, fasteners, and stops for landing on the ridges of the iliac spines, a polyethylene sleeve with two pelots formed on its front inner surface, providing the possibility of pressure in the subclavian areas, and two pelots located on the rear inner surface of the sleeve, providing vapor pressure ertebralno one vertebra below the damaged segment, but the model does not provide the fixation of damaged vertebrae above the level of Th-6 vertebra.
The objective of the utility model is to enable earlier verticalization of the patient with reliable fixation of the damaged vertebra above the level of Th-6 vertebra.
The technical result in an orthopedic hyperextension corset on the upper thoracic spine is achieved by the fact that it contains a polyethylene sleeve with a lateral incision and a head holder with a valve, as well as with two pellets formed on the front inner surface of the sleeve, providing pressure in the subclavian regions, and two pelots placed on the rear inner surface of the sleeve, providing pressure paravertebrally, with fasteners and stops for landing on the iliac ridges stey located on the sleeve. The valve is made of thermoplastic material, for example, of pedylene, and the fastening elements are made in the form of Velcro fasteners.
Figure 1 shows views A) in front, B) in the back and C) on the side of an orthopedic hyperextension corset on the thoracic spine, where position 1 is a polyethylene sleeve; position 2 - stops for landing on the ridges of the iliac spines; position 3 - subclavian pelota; position 4 - pelots placed on the rear inner surface of the sleeve; position 5 - fasteners in the form of Velcro fasteners; position 6 - ventilation window; position 7 - side section; position 8 - head holder; position 9 - pedylene valve.
Orthopedic hyperextension corset on the thoracic spine is used as follows.
In the supine position, a corset is put on. In this case, the stops 2 of the polyethylene sleeve 1 should be located on the ridges of the iliac spines, the head holder 8 should be located between the occipital bone and shoulder straps, after which it is necessary to check the compliance of the position of the pilots 3 with the subclavian fossae. Then the corset must be fastened to the Velcro fasteners 5. And install the pedal valve 9 with emphasis on the clavicles from below and the lower jaw from above. After this patient, you can verticalize and check the location of the paravertebral pelots 4. The corset is removed in the supine position in the reverse sequence.
The positive effect of the use of the claimed utility model is to enable earlier verticalization of the patient with reliable fixation of the damaged vertebra above the level of Th-6 vertebra.
