In this design of the sofa bed there is no possibility of changing the depth of the seat, due to the forward movement of the seat, and also when the mechanism is transformed from one extreme position to another, it is necessary to change the position of the backrest in order to free up space for turning the transformation mechanism, and return it to its original position in order to exclude the gap between the berth and the back.

From document RU 2320251 C1 A47C 17/20, a sofa bed is known containing a supporting structure, a back, a seat, a transformation mechanism, a backrest lifting mechanism. The disadvantage of this design is that when folding a sofa - or a chair-bed, you must first manually raise the back and then lower it, which causes inconvenience when operating upholstered furniture, and there is also no possibility of changing the seat depth.

As the closest prototype, a sofa bed was selected from RU 98876 U1 А47С 17/13, containing a base, a movable back, a seat, a transformation mechanism with a mattress, rigidly fixed between the side walls of the base.

The objective of the utility model is:

creating transformable furniture for sitting and lying more comfortable for sitting by changing the depth of the seat by moving it forward, as well as providing space for the free transformation of the transformation mechanism from one extreme position to another without moving the backrest.

The technical result achieved due to this type of furniture is to increase the comfort of sitting, as well as providing space for the rotation of the transformation mechanism during transformation by moving the transformation mechanism with the seat installed on it in the sofa position, forward by a predetermined distance.

Preferably, the transformation mechanism interacts with the floor with one pair of support wheels mounted in front.

In particular, another pair of support wheels can be mounted at the rear.

Preferably, the guiding means interacting with the base and the transformation mechanism are made in the form of guides on the side walls of the base and the rollers interacting with them mounted on the transformation mechanism.

The guides on the side rails are made with clips of the position of the rollers.

In particular, the guides on the side walls of the base can be made in the form of grooves, and the latches in the form of recesses.

Transformable upholstered furniture is described below in the form of a sofa bed, although it can also be made, for example, in the form of a chair bed. Conventionally, the mechanism for moving the back in a sofa bed with a movable back is not shown, since it is not the task of this technical solution. As a back movement mechanism, any of the known transformation mechanisms can be used.

In FIG. 1-3, a first preferred embodiment of a sofa bed according to a utility model is shown. The sofa bed in accordance with this embodiment comprises a base 1, a back 2, a seat 3, a transformation mechanism 4, the side walls 5 of the base 1 being connected by stiffeners 6. The transformation mechanism 4 is provided with support wheels 7 and rollers 8 and connected to the base 1 with the possibility of translational movement relative to it. The stiffening elements 6 are equipped with clamps 9, which ensure the fixation of the support wheels 7 of the transformation mechanism 4 in the "sofa" position (Fig. 1). On the side walls 5 of the base 1 there are guides 10 made in the form of grooves with which the rollers 8 of the transformation mechanism 4 interact. On the guides 10 there are latches 11 made in the form of recesses for fixing the rollers 8 in predetermined positions.

In FIG. 1 sofa bed is shown in the "sofa" position, while the rollers are in the extreme rear position of the guides 10 in the latch 11.

When moving furniture from the "sofa" position (Fig. 1) to the "sofa with increased seat depth" position (Fig. 2), the transformation mechanism 4 with the seat 3 mounted on it moves forward by a predetermined amount, while the rollers 8 move along the guides 10 and the support wheels 7 on the floor. The extension of the transformation mechanism continues until the rollers 8 abut against the side wall of the guides 10 and are fixed in the extreme front lock 11, while the rollers 8 pass through the intermediate clamps 11 and can be stopped in one of the intermediate positions.

The rise of the transformation mechanism 4 (Fig. 3) and translation into the "bed" position (Fig. 4) is made from the position "sofa with increased seat depth" (Fig. 2), which frees up the space for the rotation of the transformation mechanism 4.

The translation of the sofa bed from the "bed" position (Fig. 4) to the "sofa" position (Fig. 1) is performed in the reverse order.

In FIG. 5-8 show a second preferred embodiment of a sofa bed.

According to this embodiment, the transformation mechanism 4 interacts with the base 1 by means of telescopic guides 12, in which the fixed part 13 is fixed on the side walls 5 of the base 1, and the movable part 14 on the transformation mechanism 4.

In FIG. 5 shows a sofa bed in the "sofa" position, while the movable part 14 of the telescopic guide 12 is located inside the stationary part 13.

When moving from the "sofa" position (Fig. 5) to the "sofa with increased seat depth" position (Fig. 6), the support wheels 7 move along the floor, and the movable part 14 of the telescopic guides 12 extends from the fixed part 13 by a predetermined distance. Only with the full extension of the movable part 14 of the telescopic rails is it possible to translate the transformation mechanism into the "bed" position (Fig. 7, 8).

The third and fourth preferred embodiments are shown in FIG. 9 and FIG. 10 and differ from the first two options in that the transformation mechanism is provided with two pairs of support wheels 7. Both pairs of wheels when moving the transformation mechanism 4 move along the floor, the guiding means of interaction of the transformation mechanism and the base according to the first or second options provide a direction and a predetermined amount of movement, fixing the transformation mechanism in predetermined positions. The use of two pairs of support wheels provides greater stability of the transformation mechanism 4 due to the support on the floor at four points.

A fifth preferred embodiment is shown in FIG. 11, 12. According to this embodiment, the back 2 of the sofa bed is movable.

Performing a movable backrest allows you to set it in any convenient position, which increases comfort when sitting, especially in the “sofa with increased seat depth” position.

In FIG. 11 shows a sofa bed in the “sofa with increased seat depth” position, in which the backrest 2 is in a predominantly upright position. Through the mechanism of transformation 15, the back is translated into any convenient position. In FIG. 12 shows a sofa bed in the “sofa with increased seat depth” position, in which the backrest is in the most inclined position.
