Abstract

A method for attaching a barrel, including making a receiver with a hole for installing a barrel, characterized in that the connection of the interchangeable barrel with the receiver of the firearm is detachable and has a tapered screw with a thread, a tapered hole in the receiver for a tapered screw and a threaded hole in the receiver with on the reverse side for the threaded part of the conical screw, and on the barrel there is a conical groove for the conical screw.

Description

The technical solution relates to detachable joints for interchangeable barrels, is used in the design of firearms (non-automatic, as well as automatic and self-loading).

A known method of mounting the barrel to the receiver of small arms as a prototype No. 1 (RF Patent 2208211 with priority right of 11/27/2007 IPC 7 F41A 21/48), which consists in the implementation of the receiver with a hole for installing the barrel. The barrel is attached by screwing the receiver onto the barrel, followed by the pinning of both parts.

There is also a way to quickly mount the barrel (prototype No. 2) by installing the barrel in the hole in the receiver and then fastening it with a nut and lock nut on the gas pipe (RF Patent 62697 V1 with priority right of 04/27/2007 IPC F41A 21/48).

The disadvantage of the first technical solution is that it is applicable once at the factory assembly of weapons and cannot be used to assemble weapons in the field (many times), which reduces its functionality.

The second option allows multiple removal and installation of the barrel, but has fundamental structural differences in the method of attachment and is more complicated compared to the proposed option.

The objective of the proposed technical solution is to increase functionality due to the removal, installation and replacement of the barrel of small arms in the field.

The technical result is achieved due to the fact that the method of attaching the barrel to the receiver includes the implementation of the receiver with a hole for installing the barrel and fixing the barrel to the receiver using a conical screw of the original design, through a conical hole in the receiver and a conical groove in the barrel, on the reverse side, the hole in the receiver box has a thread for securing the screw.

To implement the claimed method, a device is proposed, which is illustrated by drawings in figure 1 - shows a device with a detached barrel, figure 2 shows a device with an attached barrel.

The device consists of a receiver 1 with an opening 2 for installing a barrel 3, which also has a conical hole 4 for a conical screw 5 and a counter conical groove 6 on the barrel 3.

The connection of the barrel is as follows: the barrel 3 is inserted into the hole 2, while the groove 6 on the barrel 3 should coincide with the hole 2, after which the screw 5 is inserted with a larger diameter threaded part and is screwed up to the stop.

The proposed method of mounting the barrel to the receiver allows the barrel to be removable, for example, for ease of transportation or to replace the barrel with a longer barrel or other caliber in the field.

A method of attaching a barrel, including the implementation of the receiver with an opening for installing the barrel, characterized in that the connection of the interchangeable barrel with the receiver of a firearm is detachable and has a tapered screw with a thread, a tapered hole in the receiver for a tapered screw and a threaded hole in the receiver with the reverse side under the threaded part of the conical screw, and on the barrel there is a conical groove for the conical screw.
