Description

The utility model relates to technical means of organizing traffic during the operation of roads and can be used in traffic signs with internal lighting.
The road sign according to patent RU No. 96441U1, published 2010.07.27, which contains a housing, at least one translucent panel with a graphic image, a source of internal illumination, a power supply, is known. The graphic image of the sign is made using retroreflective material on the back surface of the translucent polycarbonate panel, and the source of internal illumination is made in the form of LEDs. LEDs are installed on the end surfaces of the housing with the possibility of introducing radiation into the translucent panel. To improve the uniformity of the glow of the sign, a geometric corrugation is applied to the rear surface of the translucent panel.
The disadvantages of this device are:
- insufficiently even illumination of the graphic image of the road sign due to the loss of light flux when passing through a translucent panel,
- large power consumption and power consumption when using this optical scheme, because To ensure uniform illumination, powerful LEDs are required, in addition, the cost of illuminating the graphic image in the daytime is increased operating costs due to the relatively high cost of powerful LEDs.
The task to which the claimed utility model is directed is to create an economical product with enhanced performance characteristics.
The technical result of this utility model is the uniform illumination of a graphic image of a road sign with the possibility of using less powerful LEDs, and, as a result, reducing power consumption and cost of the product, increasing its service life.
To achieve the technical result, a road sign device comprising a housing in which a translucent panel with a graphic image of a sign made of reflective material and geometric grooves on the rear surface of the panel is installed, an LED internal illumination source, an electrical power source and an electric power supply circuit to the internal illumination source,
- on the inner surface of the body is applied reflective coating,
- a reflective coating is applied on the front surface of the translucent panel, on which a graphic image of the sign is made of reflective material,
- to control the operating modes of the source of internal illumination in the electric circuit is additionally installed connected with the power source, a device for regulating light radiation,
- on the front surface of the translucent panel applied translucent protective coating of impact-resistant material, for example, in the form of a laminated film,
- the device for controlling light radiation is made in the form of a photo relay.
Applying a reflective coating on the inner surface of the housing provides a more dense reflected light flux. The implementation of the field is not occupied by a graphic image of the sign and the sign of the reflective material forms an additionally reflected light flux. A light control device installed in an electric circuit in the form of a photorelay connected to a power supply allows controlling the operating modes of the internal backlight source, automatically turning off the LED backlight at a given time, for example, at night, and then automatically turning it on. It is also possible to automatically change the emitted light flux by changing the supply current of the LEDs at predetermined time intervals, which eliminates overheating of the LEDs and the entire product during long-term operation. Thus, an additional heat sink assembly is not required. The necessary thermal conditions during the operation of the product are respected. In addition, the operation of the product provides significant energy savings, increased service life, reduced operating costs. Drawing on the front surface of the translucent panel a translucent protective coating of impact-resistant material, for example, in the form of a laminated film, provides the product with protection against atmospheric precipitation and vandal resistance. The proposed technical solution to the road sign does not require the use of expensive high-power LEDs. To provide the necessary backlight, low-cost, weaker LEDs are installed.
The essence of the proposed technical solution is illustrated by drawings, where

- figure 2 shows a front view of a road sign.
The road sign contains a housing 1 (figure 1), in which is installed
translucent panel 2. On the front surface of the translucent panel 2 (FIG. 2), a white reflective film 3 is glued with a graphic image of a road sign in the center, and a geometric corrugation is performed on the rear surface of the panel with a predetermined pitch and depth. The source of internal illumination is made in the form of an LED circuit 4 and is mounted on a sealed frame 5 so that the light flux is directed to the ends of the translucent panel 2. The LED circuit 4 is connected through an electric circuit and a light control device in the form of a photorelay 6 to a power supply 7. Changing the brightness The glow of the road sign is carried out using a photo relay 6 by changing the supply current depending on the general illumination in the place where the road sign is installed. On the inner surface of the housing 1, a reflective reflective coating is applied 8. The front surface of the translucent panel 2 with a graphic image of a road sign is covered with a protective laminated film (not shown conventionally).
The device operates as follows.
The operation of the power supply 7 of the LED circuit 4 is controlled by a photo relay 6. During daylight hours, the source of internal illumination is turned off. When reducing the amount of ambient light from the photorelay 6 to the power supply 7, a signal is received to turn on the LED circuit 4 of the internal illumination. The radiation from the LEDs through the end surface is introduced into the transparent translucent panel 2, propagates along the panel 2, is reflected from the mirror coating 8 of the housing 1 and the rear surface with geometrical corrugation, passes through a reflective coating (film) 3 with a graphic image of a road sign, thus increasing , brightness of the highlighting of a graphic image of a road sign.
In the case of turning off the internal illumination, the graphic image of the sign is clearly visible when the headlights of vehicles and streetlights are illuminated.
The proposed technical solution provides regulatory optical characteristics of the road sign under various operating conditions. Traffic signs using this technical solution are economical, easy to maintain, and have an extended service life. The reliability and efficiency of traffic management is enhanced.

A road sign containing a housing in which a translucent panel with a graphic image of a sign of reflective material and geometric grooves on the rear surface of the panel is installed, an LED internal illumination source, an electrical power source and an electric power supply circuit to the internal illumination source, characterized in that a reflective coating is applied to the inner surface of the housing, and a reflective coating is applied on the front surface of the light-transmitting panel, on which A graphic image of the sign made of reflective material is made, in addition, to control the operating modes of the source of internal illumination, an additional device for controlling light radiation connected to the power source is additionally installed.
